Give a man a flower and he will give it to the woman he loves, give a man a gun, he will use it to protect those dear to him, corner that man, he will kill. Attack his family, he will kill. Threaten that man, he will kill if there is no other way.
There are so many reasons for a man to kill, and only a few for a man to love. As is human nature, violence is the easy way, love is a fool's errand…
"Where did I put that damn wrench?" a lean a toned man asked himself as he worked on a car. His eyes scanned around his small 2 car garage "found ya, how'd you end up there?" Jayce rubbed the back of his head as he looked up at it, it was laying on a pile of scrap metal. Jay climbed the pile, grabbed the wrench and stuck the landing as he left off. His physic was military but lean, he was the type to eat and work hard straight away. He continued on the car, rubbing the oil on a cloth but it would some how get on his clothes.
As Jayce moved from under the car his head became heavy, he had this problem before. He urgently needed something to carve or draw with! Darkness crept over the corner of his eyes, he stumbled around only managing to find a screw driver, he tried to find something else before it kicked in but it happened sooner than he hoped, his were staring into nothingness as he slowly and unnaturally walked his way to the car. He kneeled down besides the door and pressed the tip of the screwdriver into the body and began to carve and scratch the surface. Symbols flashed in his head and his body just let them go into the real World. By the time he was done, he covered the entire body of the car with carvings of symbols making the end of the screwdriver blunt and unusable.
Jayce snapped out of his possessed state rubbing his eyes as he regained consciousness. When the surface of the car hit him, he stared wide eyes "oh no no no no, the client is gunna have my head!" he wasn't rich and this garage was small so it just about got him by "why the car?!" he asked running his fingers over the carvings he made evaluating the damage... He'd need to put in a whole new body. He fell back into his hands and sighed, looking up st the car, how was he gunna explain this?...

Abigail’s fingers flew over the keyboard, entering in a series of numbers before a new green screen reflected in her glasses. She took only a moment to push them farther up her nose before she began to enter in more information; the peck peck peck of the keyboard filled the air as screens flashed around her. Even though she was cooped up in a basement, surrounded by computer screens and filing cabinets overflowing with papers, the lights from the screens made it seem like a bright oasis; at least to Abigail. She was not at all surprised when the screen lit up with a red message bar reading “Restricted. Please enter password” Her fingers continued to dance across the keys, bringing up four small pop-up windows where series of numbers began to scroll. It wouldn’t take her very long to figure out which four numbers she needed.
“Abiga—“
“Shh,” She silenced. A faint ding sound slipped form the computer as the password box grew green. She sat stone faced as the screen changed several more times before a large video finally appeared on the screen.
“This is the dawn of a new age! With this new technology, we shall see the end of human suffering once and for all! Brothers, Friends! I introduce to you, Prototype XX!” The crowd’s roar drowned out the husky voice as red eyes lit up the man-beast. Though he was to represent man, his metal body and rhythmic movements depicted him to be man-made. Abigail’s hands clenched into small fists as she watched the robot methodically slice the head off a realistic dummy.
“Abigail I think—“
“Shut up!”
“Our next step is to ship prototype XX across the country and take place of the army we have so long destroyed. We will no longer have to inform families that their father or son has passed. No need to worry about the taxpayer’s money either, as this will be free to everyone! Please help me in welcoming the new age!” The crowd erupted in cheers once again before the screen flashed away and replaced itself with a transcript. Alicia took only a minute to read the 1500 word description before her fingers were at the keyboard again.
“Abigail I insist that you take a look at this!” The intern’s voice came again, stronger than previously. She whirled around in her chair, tossing her blonde hair around.
“What is so important?!” She snarled, her glasses slipping down her nose as she glared over at him. He merely pointed to one of the screens atop a nearby file cabinet. She turned her attention towards it and watched as the screen flipped between cameras. The people who appeared in the cameras didn’t know they were being watched, but neither did the CIA or the military. She saw images of a café, a lit alleyway, a small garage, an office..
“Wait..” Abigail muttered. The intern understood, and switched the camera back to the small garage where he knew a man was acting strange.
“Zoom in,” She ordered. As the camera slowly zoomed in and refocused itself, it became apparent that the man was acting more than strange. He seemed to know what he was doing as he etched a series of symbols into the side of a new car. To anyone else, these symbols would have seemed strange, but Abigail knew them well. She turned back to her computer screen and switched back to her desktop where a live feed of an astonishingly full tree swayed in the wind. Blue symbols lit up the trunk of the tree in the exact manner the man had written on the car.
“Who is he?” She asked, turning back to face the intern as she twirled her hair with one hand. She had been waiting for this person for almost two years; she could hardly wait any longer. The inter swiped a piece of paper from the printer
“Jayce O’Conner. 22 year old male. Ex-military. He’s currently working as a mechanic in Fusion city.” A smile grew on Abigail’s face for the first time in years.
“That’s only an hour away. Start the car.”

((i can feel the start of a great RP in my bones :0 :DDDD ))
Jayce was sat facing the car, a straight pile of tires kept him comfortable as he sipped a beer. He hated the fact that he couldn't control himself when the symbols appeared and he hated it even more now that they're becoming a lot more frequent. Jayce ran his hand trough his medium long red and black hair then sighed into a sip of his beer "How am i supposed to talk my way out of this?" he walked up to it and knelt down "If i could explain this, i would know what's going on, i barely know what i'm gunna eat later let alone know what these mean" Jayce scratched his head then took a sip again.
He placed the beer down besides him on a tray whilst he flipped through a book containing car manufacturers, he licked the tip of his thumb and index finger to grab the corners better "i would've made a lot from this car... now i'm gunna go bankrupt" Jayce sighed, he finished his beer and grabbed his phone from his pocket, dialed the number of a manufacturer and pressed the phone to his right ear
ring ring "Hello, Stallion car company, Bringing out the racer in you"
"Yea hi, can i talk to a dealer for a few parts"
"Sure, can i get your name sir?"
"My name is Jayce O'Conner"
"Thank you you for calling mister O'Conner--" The woman on the phone stopped as she heard a scream from Jayce's end. Jayce's head jerked in the direction of the scream
"SOMEBODY HELP!" A woman cried for help within the radius of his garage.
"Hold on one second!" Jayce said to the lady on the phone, he placed the phone on the stainless steel tray and bolted in the direction of the scream. He turned the corner from his garage and saw a malfunctioning Enforcer Mark 2 sparking up and chasing a woman. The woman hid behind Jayce and begged for his help "Please, help, it won't stop" she pleaded, Jayce continued to watch the Enforcer approach
"Run, go get help for your wounds" Jayce popped his knuckles and his neck releasing the pressure from his joints.
The Enforcer broke into a sprint and cocked a punch, just as it threw it, Jayce grabbed it with his right hand, the impact would've hurt a regular man but Jayce was far from regular. He pressed his left hand on the Enforcer's chest plate and pulled it's arm completely off, the wires sprayed oil everywhere. Jayce finished The robot slamming both his palms into the both sides of its head crushing it all the way to the artificial brain. Baby blue liquid poured out over his fingers aas he let the robot drop to his feet "Never liked these bastards anyway" he spat, kicked it, then walked back towards his garage, picking up another beer and the phone he left.
He pressed the phone to his ear and hear the Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep The line was cut "Great" he sighed again, flicking the cap off of the beer with his thumb

“He’s pretty strong miss, do you think we dare approach him?” The intern whispered from the passenger seat. The two sat a few feet back as they watched the scene unfold from the comfort of Abigail’s Jeep. She squinted hard at the man as she took in his features. Tall, muscular, young… he was different than she expected, but the symbols matched. It had to be him. She popped the door open before climbing out of the Jeep.
“He doesn’t seem like a threat, at least to us anyway. Come on. I didn’t drive all this way to leave without more information.” She quickly strode down the dusty street and turned into the shade of the garage where Jayce was now taking a sip of his beer. She looked him over before her eyes fell onto the car. The symbols were more detailed in person; even with a picture it would be hard to make the symbols match that closely.
“Jayce O’Conner, my name is Abigail Thorton. I have some questions for you regarding the symbols on that car there.” She told him matter-of-factly, glancing back up to his face. Without being invited in, she took a step closer to the car before squatting down and running her hands over the etchings.
“Simply amazing…” she muttered to herself. After one long last look at the car she stood up straight.
“These symbols…how did you know how to draw them? Have you seen them before? Has someone shown you them?” She probed. Though she hadn’t given the man any reason to trust them, mostly because she forgot about formalities, she was hopeful he would confine in them.

Jayce placed the bear on the tray and quickly turned a 180 degrees pulling the pistol from his pants waist "Who're you?" Jayce aimed the gun at her aiming down the sight directly at her head. When she told him her name he wasn't expecting her to know his name. "Okay Abigail, how do you know who i am and why do you want to know about those symbols?" he pointed the gun at her intern "Or this poor sucker gets one between the eyes" The intern quivered, Jayce had the gun pointed at him in his left hand and a knife hanging loose in his right hand besides him.
"I don't want anything to do with those, i can't stop them, they just happen" the knuckles of his right hand were a shiny metallic, the artificial skin seemed to have peeled a little, maybe from when he fought the Enforcer. "It's not amazing, i can't stop them, i can't leave the garage until i've carved the symbols somewhere..." He only told her because she seemed like she knew what was wrong with him "one minute i'm doing something normal, my eyes blank and the next I'm sat or stood facing the surface i carved the symbols into..."

"Now, there's no reason to resort to violence." She told him as she walked in front of his line of sight and protected her intern, David. She didn't need to lose another intern, she had gone through 15 already.
"This is all hard to explain, but your knowledge of the symbols makes you quite extraordinary. We have been looking for someone like you for quite some time, longer than you can imagine. I saw you destroyed one of those robots so I hope that means you're on our side. We're an undercover organization working together to stop the military from sending in more of those things. There are new prototypes coming, with skills far surpassing the one you just killed. We think it won't take long before they start taking over human kind..I'd like to show you something, if you're willing. Something that might make those symbols make more sense to you. I'd explain it now, but ice come to find out that seeing makes more sense to people." She explained very quickly, her mind almost speaking faster than her mouth. Starring down the barrel of the gun, she remained quite calm as she cleaned her glasses on her t-shirt.
"I understand we haven't given you much of a reason to trust us, but really, you should give us a chance. If the military finds out that you can draw those symbols...they will stop at nothing to destroy you," she finished, putting her glasses back on.

Jayce hesitated at first, but he lowered the gun "anyone willing to put their life on the line for an innocent is a good person in my book" Sliding the gun into his pants waist, he looked around for a spray can "Extraordinary how? Sure i wanna get rid of this but i don't see why i have to be the extraordinary one..." He said as he looked around, he saw the can lying behind a few other cans of spray paint.
He walked over and picked it up "On one condition, i need to see someone soon, if you can get me to him after this whole ordeal then i'll accept" he shook the can of artificial and began to spray it over his knuckles, the skin formed as he sprayed, the tears sealing up. The metallic shine of his knuckles died out. He nursed his shoulder, both his arms seemed to be doing fine.
Jayce became cautious of them "Why would the military want to kill me? i served in the army for years. They haven't a reason to" he tightened the grip around his knife "But the robots, they're more suspicious. Once i had an outbreak on the streets with the spray paint cans and a robot's eyes turned red and began shooting at me, it killed 3 people as it tried" he shook the can once more and did the same thing to his other hand, whatever seemed to be his hands or even his arms for that matter if it was that bad, they weren't at all natural for humans.
"Never trusted these bastard machines..."

"We didn't pick you for this role, it was predetermined before your birth. I wish I could inform you of more, but I only know a few facts about you. And one of those facts is that you will definitely change this world. Whatever you need, we can make it work. Unless the man you desire to see is dead, we can't do anything that way." She sighed his mention of the military and walked over to lean up against some of the tires. David was still frozen where he stood.
"It doesn't matter what ties you used to have in the military. Once the military finds out that you have the capability to bring down their whole operation, they will want to take you out. You are their biggest threat. If you think those robots are bad...wait till you see prototype XX... Their skills far surpass the ones that are around now. The military claims they have fixed the bugs that cause human distraction..but in fact they are made to kill. There's no program to differentiate between who is good and who is not. Long story short, you are going to be the one who stops this whole process. Come, you need to see the tree," she finished, turning on her heel back towards the Jeep. She made sure to grab David by the collar and drag him with her.
"I still think you are giving him too much credit, we're not even really sure this is the guy," he whispered as he regained himself. Abigail chuckled as she climbed into the drivers side.
"Trust me, I know."
"Jayce! Come hop up front! We can talk along the way! She called from the open window. David dejectedly hopped into the back seat.

((I enabled guns cuz, i think that would be wise
))
Jayce sighed, just as he pulled out to restart his life.... He gets pulled back in. He turned and pressed a button on his keys which made the garage doors seal shut "still have a damaged car I need to fix..." He mumbled as he jumped into the jeep "there's a tree?... Why am I going to see a tree?" now she really confused him, he was apparently a hero who will talk to a tree to see where his fate lies, today was the craziest day he'd ever had... More than when he had to go undercover behind enemy lines and had to be a pimp. He looked terrible in purple purple.
As they approached the edge of the town, there seemed to be a newly placed barrier. Each side of the barrier had a SWAT Ghost x robot taking guard.
"this might get rough..." He said to them as they approached the end of the que. Their jeep rolled up to the barrier and a human police officer was stood there under the blistering warm sun with full uniform, sun glasses and a clipboard
"look into the retinal scanner please folks" a single orb-like retinal scanner floated besides him, a beam of red light scanned their eyes all together. The orb flashed green. The police many looked at his phone as their names and faces came up. Jayce balled his arms into a fist, he slowly moved his hand over to the gear box and placed his hand firmly on Abigail's Who's hand was resting on the gear shift. "Mister O'Conner..." Jayce put the jeep into first gear ever so slowly "...by law I must inform you to renew your citizenship passport soon" the SWAT Ghost robot behind him turned its head towards Jayce in an unnatural manner, it seems the robots share a central comm system.
As the officer continued to talk the S.G bot behind him blew a hole into the back of his head spraying brain matter and blood into the car "PUNCH IT!" Jayce yelled for Abigail to drive as fast as she could. The eyes on the robots turned from blue to red. Jayce leaned out the window and took his gun from his pants waist, aiming and firing at the now persuing SWAT Ghost x bots.

(Haha guns on it is! 😄)
Abigail was used to the security at the boarder of each town now, so the retinal scanner didn't bother her. She had done a good job of keeping her name and face out of FBI Intel. However, she couldn't help but notice the officer's face scrunch up as he glanced from his phone back to Jayce. She jumped slightly as Jayce's cold, firm hand grasped hers, guiding it into first gear. She kept her face placid though, as to not draw attention. Why was he so worried though..? She was ripped from her thoughts though as blood and brain matter splattered across her face and the windshield.
"Just what kind of trouble are you in that we don't know about!" Abigail yelled over the scratching tires and the sounds of Jayce's gunshots. She quickly flipped on the windshield whispers and cleared away just enough blood so that she could see.
"Abigail, we can't lead this people to the hideout!" David yelled back to her, retching a shotgun from under the seat to aid Jayce. Abigail swore under her breath as she jerked the vehicle to the left, bounding through the brush and the dirt. Suddenly, a robot was right next to Abigail's window with his gun pointed at her face. Before she had time to jerk the car, David cocked the shotgun and blew a hole through his head, covering the dirt in blue goo.
"You know Abigail, if you would have included use of firearms on your flyer you might have got more people to sign up!" David joked, turning over his shoulder to aim at the new oncoming wave of enemies.
"No, the use of firearms is not what our organization is about"
"I forgot you're not very good at jokes," David muttered before he was almost tossed out of his seat; Abigail had launched the jeep a few feet in the air after she hit a large rock.
"It's going to get bumpy from here on out! Keep them off our tail!" Abigail yelled after hearing sirens blaze off in the distance. This was not how she expected their first meeting.
"Let me know when we're in the all clear so I can circle around and head to the location!" Disgusted, she wiped the blood from her face and reached down to put her sunglasses on. Guess there is a first time for everything.

"I haven't been in front of a bot since the incident on the street, after that i guess the image of my face must have gone around their systems" Jayce yelled over the gun shots and screeching tires. Abigail left a clouds of dirt in her trail as she weaved through the traffic zipping through cars. A robot mounted onto a decked out motorcycle was able to catch up to them. Jayce spread the blue ooze from it's artificial brain across cars alongside it as he blew a bullet into the side of it's head. The bike spiraled out of control and went under two other robots chasing them. Obstacle caused the robots to also fall from their bikes but one of the robots leapt off the bike and onto the bumper of the jeep.
Jayce , for the time being found it hard to make any progress onto the jeep and Jayce had another wave incoming. He dropped his empty mag and loaded another into his pistol "Keep your foot on the gas!" he yelled over the gunfire. The robot on the bumper was persistent, it climbed up onto the jeep but struggled to keep balance. Jayce huffed, sliding the gun back where it belongs and climbed up onto the jeep.
The robot got a lock on him and through a few punches at Jayce, he countered keeping his arms up for defense and dodged most of the punches. When Jayce managed to block some of the robot's attacks with his arms, the sound of metal clashing was accompanied by sparks. Jayce saw an opening in the robot's one-two pattern and hooked it below it's metal chin with a powerful right uppercut. The head flew off and landed in a nearby 7-seater car carrying a family.
Jayce punched the roof of the jeep, piercing a hole into it and grabbed the edge of it. It provided support but it left him open to gun fire. He shot at them from the roof, taking down a few more as the bullets zipped past him. Abby's driving was top-notch as she continued to weave past the traffic, David and Jayce thinned out the enemies until they were completely gone for the time-being leaving a wake of scrap metal, robot corpses and burning motorbikes.
Jayce climbed into the passanger seat, he looked between Abigail and David "You both have brain matter all over you" Which was stupid of him since he was the one with the most, in fact, he was covered in oil from his garage, blue goop from the robots, blood and brain juice. Not needing his shirt anymore he removed it exposing his toned bare torso and shoulders.

"Yeah, this isn't exactly what I had in mind when I picked you up today," she called back to him, pulling off her sunglasses and throwing them out the window. They were useless to her now.
"Hopefully that'll keep them off us for
The time being. When we get back to base i'll wipe our faces from military intelligence, and hopefully that will keep us out of their systems." She told him glancing back in her rear view mirror at him. She couldn't help but notice that the paint was coming off his hands again revealing the metal underneath. She hoped he wasn't one of them, send by one of the military dogs to distract her. Maybe they got wind of her project? Highly unlikely, she had covered her tracks. But If so, he played the part very well.
"We're only about a block away now, so we should be there any minute. Try not to call distraction to yourself, we don't need more of those things to come running." While it was obvious that they were covered in robot goo and that the car was splattered with too, they blended in and assumed the normal flow of traffic. While they brought some attention to themselves, no one around here really seemed to care.
"So, tell me about your hands." She asked him. David was looking quizzically at them as well.

"It's not just my hands..." he said peeling the artificial skin from his hands. The skin peeled all the way to his shouders. The metal was beautiful, it was a smooth silver without a scratch. There were no grooves where his metallic elbow was. The skin peeled further all the way to his Trapezius muscles. A blue glow pierced the surface of his shoulder and began to take shape into a symbol, more symbols began to take form until his arms were covered in them "Every time i peel the fake skin from my arms these symbols form... They're the same ones i can't get out of my head"
They were nearing the hideout and David handed Jayce a zip up hoodie. He would stick out like a sore thumb if he walked around in public like that. Jayce nodded and slid into it, Zipping up the hoodie mid way up to his chest. He threw the hood over his head to make it harder to spot the dried blood on his face.
The jeep stopped and Jayce stepped out, it had been years since he stepped out of Furion city

Abigail could hardly keep her eyes on he road as Jayce peeled back his skin. The same symbols as the tree! It was as if he was literally designed for this life. How did it take them so long to find him when he was so perfect?! Abigail finally tore her eyes away as they pulled up to a curb. Apartments lined the sidewalk across the street from a nearby park where children chased one another merrily. Abigail swiftly exited the car and made a beeline for one of the gloomy buildings.
"Come on, let's go," David told Jayce, hopping out of the car and running to catch up with Abigail. David finally made contact as Abigail pulled open the door. Immediately the group heard the sounds of a woman angrily screaming upstairs, only interrupted by a man's angry screams in return.
"Mr and Mrs Beautax. They never stop fighting," David whispered over to Jayce as they made their way down the steps. Abigail entered in quick code on the door at the bottom of the stairs and after a low ding the door swing open. Abigail instantly made her way over to the computer and began to type furiously, series of codes spilling over her computer. Occasionally images of the team appeared on the computer, only to be digitally destroyed in her next few seconds. David sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as he made his way in the dark room, only lit by the screens around the room.
"Want something to drink?" David asked, opening up a small mini fridge in the corner.

"could use a few..." He sighed flopping onto the single couch on the opposite wall of the pc she was using. He rubbed his temples, his eyes then ran a hand through his hair. Today has been the most confusing/worst day ever. David handed him a beer and a painkiller "you may be half... But you look like you need one"
"thanks, I actually woke up one day like this... At home..."
"you say that like you didn't expect to be home" David inquired
"I was behind enemy lines, miles from home. AN army of the robots attacked us and my team was killed, my arms were ripped off by those machines" he ran a hand over his right bicep then took a sip.
He got up and hovered over Abigail's shoulder, looking down at the screen and seeing his face being wiped from existence *sigh* "all my fears, my medals, gone" he chugged the beer with a little frown.

"False. I can't wipe you from existence completely, that would draw attention to ourselves. I'm just erasing the events over the past hour. We really don't need people breaking down this door." Abigail muttered emotionlessly, another image disintegrating on the screen.
"Plus, erasing you completely from existence would be far too hard. There are too many loopholes. For now I'll be giving you an alternate identity as to not draw attention to yourself" a printer in the far back corner of the room kicked in to life, screeching as it began a job.
"David, coffee." David instantly straightened, running over to the express machine and pouring a steaming cup. He rushed back over to Abigail and set the cup next to her on the table. She merely nodded over to him as he fingers brought up a copy of Jayce's drivers license. She began to alter his information.
"Now's you're chance. Pick a new name or I'll give you one. It's only for public uses. We'll still call you Jayce. After we get these figured out I'll take you to see the tree. Everything will start to make sense then. We need to get these small details figured out first," she told him, tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear.

Jayce saw David move unnaturally all around like a robot. He made coffee and on the way towards them, without even looking, he sweeped the papers from the printer and handed it to them "erh thanks..." it was all going so fast, he took the paper and scribbled on everything that he needed to. Just like that he was a new person, for the time being but, strangely, it fits... He doesn't know who he is...
Jayce grabbed the second being testing on the table waiting for him and flicked open the cap. The door opened up to their room and in came a teenagEr.His blonde bangs drooped over his eyes and his blue hoodie covered half his head. He shut the door behind him with his feet "Abigail, I'm here what's the emergency?" the kid asked pulling out his headphones, he chewed his gum with his mouth open before realising he was upon new face "erm... Whose he?" he crooked a finger at Jayce
"right now? I'm Nick, originally?... I'm lost"
"okay, but, the hell are you doing here? This Is top secreT" Shaun asked quizzically, then it clicked "is he the guy you wanted to talk about?" he asked Abigail.
Shaun was a runner, a carrier who delivers news, letters and packages by people who like to stay on the down low. He plays the important part of delivering hard documents, drives and packages for the watchers.

“You’re late Shaun. Yes, this is him.” Abigail started, turning around in her chair to stare over at Jayce.
“David found him in our footage. It’s hard for me to believe he’s been here all these years. I haven’t filled him in on everything else as of yet. I’ve been cleaning up the mess we made in the city.” She turned back to her screen and typed a few more numbers, pulling up a new screen.
“The military hasn’t got wind of everything, yet. I give them about a day or two before they’re up to speed with the information we found today.” She sighed, clicking off her screen before getting up and gulping down her coffee. Two days without sleep. She needed to find a way to fit more time into her schedule.
“Here, take these over to Bill. Have him respond by mail. It’s too dangerous to meet in person right now.” She told Shaun, handing him over a thick manila envelope.
“Ja—Nick here hasn’t even been told everything yet. I thought I’d take him to see it to give him a more solid idea of everything. You think that’s a good idea right now?” She asked, finishing off her cup of joe.

Shaun smiled a flicked the edge of the envelope "gotcha, and just take him to see the tree, u have a feeling he'll realise what he needs to do" he said sliding the envelopes into his shoulder bag "catch you around" Shaun ran off, he was up the stairs and out the door in the matter of seconds.
Jayce pressed the cold beer to his forehead, he Needed to cool off after their little road rage. David grabbed his jacket "I'm going to go home, lilly is coming back from work and she Has a surprise for me" he smiled as he made his way to the door "I'll be back tomorrow, still got adrenaline in me from. That little chase"
"you and me both, it's been too low" Jayce muttered staring at the coffee table, he still couldn't get how crazy things are out of his head.
RING RING
The phone began to ring, she was so into her computing that she didn't realise for a few minutes, once she snapped from her trance, she was greeted by a deep voice "Abigail, if you have him, bringing him in. We saw the whole chase and saw him with you. The tree, there's something happening to it, we need him to find out what"

"Right. I had to clean up a mess. I'll be there soon." Abigail said monotonously before hanging up the phone. She typed one more thing in the computer before the screen went blank. She turned and rose from her chair, grabbing a jacket off a nearby rack.
"Come. They're expecting us." She told him before throwing a ball cap over her head.
"Keep your head down, just in case our commotion caused suspicion." With that she threw open the door and made her way upstairs. Would this be all too much for him? Surely he wouldn't leave, would he? Mankind is too unpredictable to make assumptions on. Shrugging her shoulders to herself she unlocked the nearby Mercedes and got it.
"We've got to have more than one vehicle, it's harder to trace that way." She told him when he had gotten into the vehicle. Once he was strapped in she backed out of the tiny driveway and made her way to the outskirts of the city.
"Sorry this day has been hectic. I assumed things would go a little smoother. I was wrong. That is entirely my fault. Please though, before you think of leaving wait until this last stop," she told him, eyes glued to the road.
