It was a dreary night of downpour. Many people were sleeping, and roaming through the night was a strange being. No one noticed the creature who roamed around, but in it's wake was the remains of wooden fences and livestock. The morning brought these signs among a trail of massive indents in the ground, but the trail faded off eventually, leading to nowhere in particular.
But what made the giant indents in the ground? It was unclear to tell, but soon, maybe someone would find out. A tree near a random house, seemingly innocuous, but laying near the tree: a strange yellow creature: completely lifeless lied there near the tree. At first it seemed like a raggy toy doll, but it seemed awfully big for one.

Nausicaä:
As night shaded to dawn a young girl by the name of Nausicaä would lay asleep in her bedroom. Dreaming of childish dreams such as candy lands, and flying unicorns, as well as The Cat In The Hat balancing on a bouncy ball, and Peter Rabbit running about causing mischief. However, awoken to the scent of breakfast being made in the kitchen her eyes fluttered open and she sat up with a yawn before climbing out of bed and exiting her room. She made her way down the hall to the bathroom for a moment, and afterwards she went to the kitchen to see what he Daddy was making for breakfast. Her nose had been correct. It was waffles with some bacon on the side. She walked over to her Daddy and hugged him tightly. "Good morning Daddy" she said cheerfully. Her father looked away from his cooking to look at his one and only daughter. "Good morning Nausicaä" he said in response to her as he smiled down at her a moment before returning to his cooking as if to prevent burning himself or something. Nausicaä released his legs and stood on her tippi-toes in an attempt to watch her father cook.
It wasn't long breakfast was done and Nausicaä went to get dressed. She got dressed in a longsleeve plain white shirt with a blue dress over it (like in this picture) Her father helped her put her hair in the odd way she liked it, with two little pink ribbons holding her hair here and there (Also shown in the picture), and afterwards she asked Daddy if she could go outside to play and once he said yes, she ran through the house sliding on the wood floors in her white socks until she got to the front door where her shoes were. She slipped them on and reached up high, and opened the door before going outside.
She ran around the front yard aminously with a twig in hand before running into the back yard where she slowed down a little, something catching her eyes. A strange yellow creature: completely lifeless lying down near the tree. She tilted her head lightly before running over to and crouching down beside it. "Hello?.." she asked in her soft innocent voice as she poked the strange creature with the twig. "Mr yellow thingy?..." she asked softly and quietly, with a tinge of curiosity in her voice.

The yellow creature stayed lifeless for a few seconds. Eventually, after being poked for about the fifteenth time, the creature started to move and groan. So it was alive after all.
"Huh? Oh no, a human," the creature said. "You... you're just imagining things. Nothing to see here." The creature was not keen on being spotted by humans. After all, humans were not supposed to know of the existence of it's species, as they always stayed hidden wherever they could find a place to hide. The creature eventually tried to walk away, when suddenly he looked at his hand and noticed something that really set his ticker off.
"Oh no! Not again!" the creature shouted, running frantically over to the first puddle he saw and splashing his hand about in it. As he did, you could barely make out a red tint in the puddle. Was it... blood. "What did I do this time? Oh no, oh boy, I hope I didn't hurt any humans."

The little girl smiled a smile of satisfaction when the odd creature moved, though it faded to an expression of only mere excitement, and disbelief. She poked it one last time with the twig. "Your not imaginary silly buddy" she said with a cheerful childish giggle. The girl seemed so intrigued by this new creature. She sat down in the bright green grass, watching the new animal fascinatingly like a child who had just entered a brand new toy store. However he seemed confused when her new friend seemed worried over something. She thought nothing of the red substance on the animals paws. For all she knew it could be cherry Kool-Aid or tropical punch flavored Hawaiian Punch or some other punch drink flavor. "Are you okay Mr. Bunny guy?" she asked him. To her, he reminded her of a bunny.
"Oh, I'm actually not a bunny," he said. "I'm actually an Al'Mi-Raj. ...Well... How are we depicted in your books, little girl?" What was he saying? The Al'Mi-Raj was not a beast as commonly depicted as, say, a dragon or a fairy, so it was unlikely she actually seen any depictions of an Al'Mi-Raj."
"As for me being okay, I... I'm not sure," the Al'Mi-Raj said. "I... I don't remember anything that happened last night. All I know is that I woke up under that tree, there's bits of wood all over the yard, and... and... *gasp* Look at the size of that footprint!"
Tiberius eventually ran over to a large indent in the ground. It seemed to be in the shape of something's foot, and it appeared to be longer than either the little girl or the Al'Mi-Raj were tall. "I... I..." The creature didn't know what to say. He was kind of afraid of what the girl might think if he said something about the blood and the footprint and the broken wood.

"Not a bunny..?" the little girl asked herself softly. The words ' Al'Mi-Raj' made no sense to her experienced mind. "What's a al-meh-rej?" she asked trying to space out that word, but still failed to pronounce it correctly. She had never heard of such a thing, and one could guess because of that she would probably still refer to him as a bunny.
When he pointed out a footprint she stood up and ran over to it being the little ball of energy she was. "Wow.." she said in awe as her magnificent blue eyes examined the footprint before stepping her foot onto it. It made her foot seem so much smaller. "It reminds me of dinosaur prints" she commented looking back at the newcomer.

"We Al'mi-raj are probably portrayed differently in your literature," The bunny said. "We are actually quite friendly, but when we're not friendly, we are vicious as well. Sometimes at night we... uhh... grow unconcious... ummm..."
The girl mentioned a creature Tiberius wasn't familiar with. "A dinosaur? I've never heard of those," he said. Al'Mi-Raj literature and culture was obviously a lot different from human culture, so he didn't know what it was. The Al'Mi-Raj knew he should probably leave and not bond with the human girl, but she seemed kind of sweet. "By the way, my name is Tiberius. But you can call me Tybee if you wish."

The little girl didnt seem to understand what he meant. Being so little she wasnt very familiar wih scary, viscous things. Not even werewolves. Her father tried to keep her away from such things. He didnt want his daughter to awake in screams because of nightmares every night.
"Bunny never heard of a dinosaur?" She asked. "You know, like t-rex and all" she said before grinning "they say Rawr alot" she said cheerfully. So carefree.
"Tybee" she settled on that name for him. "I'm Nausicaä" she said.

"Nausicca? Where have I heard that name before. ...It might have been on this black rectangle I picked up one time," Tybee stated. "Sometimes I see human objects scattered all over the ground, and this black rectangle with the two strange turny-things in the back seemed interesting."
Tybee was also not used to seeing VHS tapes, which was what he was refering to. While Tybee really did like the girl, he also needed to hide before anyone else saw him.
"Anyway, I should... probably get going," Tybee said. "I don't like being seen by humans because bad things usually happen."

(
Nausicaa of the valley of the wind?)
Nausicaa pondered a moment, trying to figure out what the 'black rectangle with the two strange turny-things in the back' was, but nothing came to mind. She pondered she a moment or two before she snapped out of when the bunny said he had to go, and she seemed to make a sad expression. "Dont..go.." she said sadly, not wanting her new friend to leave so soon.

"But if a human catches me, I'm worried of what might happen," Tybee said. "I especially don't want to be around you if what I think happened last night happens again."
The little girl sighed softly and walked over and gave her new friend a hug. "Gone forever?" she asked softly. Her thoughts wondered if she would ever see her new friend ever again, or if this first day, would be the last?
Tybee looked at the little girl and didn't know whether to smile or frown. He really shouldn't be around her, but she seemed kind of intrigued by him. Plus, she looked like she was fit to burst into tears if he left. Tybee was highly conflicted. He had no idea what to do. The main thing telling him to stay was the fact the story would be way too short if he just left for good.
"Listen little girl," Tybee started. "I know it's tough making and losing friends, but I'm not human. I don't belong with humans. Bad things happen when humans know I exist. Human fear what they don't understand, and humans kill what they fear. The last thing I want is to be caught outside at night because..." Tybee still couldn't help but feel sad. He almost didn't want to go. "Oh no, it's okay little girl. I'll be alright, I just won't be here."

(sorry! I didn't notice you had replied!
)
The little girl's mind just could not bring itself to believe that her newly founded friend would have to leave for good. She had just met him, and befriended him, and now he had to leave just as quickly as he had come? It wasn't fair! She had never been a child to scream and throw tantrums, but one could easily tell what substituted in it's place. The saddest of disappointed faces. Rather then laying on the floor kicking and screaming, she would stand or sit in silence and would just cry her angers or disappointments out being she always felt guilty if she did anything similar to a tantrum.
"But your not scary.." she said in response to Tybee claiming humans kill what they fear. Her gaze fell to the ground as she realized he had to go. He couldn't stay.. With that she approached him and hugged him tightly. "Will Nausicaä's new friend ever come back?" she asked just as her gaze looked up at. Friendship seemed to mean a lot to this child, and friendship was not something to be toyed with.

"No, don't cry, don't cry little girl. ...Please don't cry, you're making this hard for me." Tybee started to feel a bit attached to her. Tybee then had the idea to bargain with her.
"I... I'll tell you what. How about I come around later today, maybe at around six of the clock I could come back," Tybee said. "I... I really shouldn't be doing this, but the longer I'm around humans, the more I risk exposure. ...But I don't want to make a little girl cry."

(Sorry! I lost this RP again
)
The little girl would look down at the ground as a crystal clear tear would stream down her cheek only to be followed by another tear upon her other cheek. Despite his words telling her not to cry, she could not help it. She could not prevent the tears that ran down her cheeks. Though his offer made her release him from the hug with hesitance and look up at him with blue eyes once more. "Tybee will be back..?" she asked with a sniff. She looked down again, as if forming a plan. "Tybee could hide in Nausicaa's bedroom" she said looking back up at him. He seemed concerned about that afterall.

"Uh, no I don't think that's a good idea," Tybee said. "Really, my place is home in my natural habitat, and I really have to get back before I'm seen. But don't worry, I'll come back later."
OOC: Timeskip to later that day?
OOC: Timeskip to later that day?
"Bye-bye Tybee" she said before giving him one last hug before running off to go play.
(Yeah. lets timeskip.)
The day seemed to pass by, and Nausicaa would sometimes ask her dad what time it was being she didn't know how to tell time. She would ask every now and then until he finally responded with 6 and with that she would smile and run off through the house. Believing she was going to her room he let her be, but truly she was going outside to where Tybee said he would around that time.

And there he was, by the tree like he promised, Tybee was waiting for her. Tybee gave a wave to her when she came out.
"Told you I would be here," he said. "Remember though, I can only stay with you till night. I have to go home at that time. We Miraj have curfews too, unfortunately."

Nausicaa would run over and hug him, glad her friend had shown up like he said he would. After a moment she released him. "Daddy would want me in my night too.." she said, so she didn't mind that to much. "What does Tybee do for fun?" she asked him looking up at him.
