Storm (played anonymously)

Cryoganal is a world that orbits around what had once been known as the North Star, the last of humanity is at peace, but peace can be boring so Galactic Emperor Storm has decided to create a place for people to take out their aggression, the Time Machine Arena, stealing races from all different worlds, realities, and times to fight against each other! As the gates opened, two Soldiers dressed in all black removed the laser hand cuffs from the fighters and pulled the hoods from their heads. "If a fighter wins three of his or her fights, he or she will be sent back to his or her time, reality, or dimension unharmed, if they lose three fights they will be executed... THAT IS IF THEY DON'T DIE IN A FIGHT FIRST!!!" The crowd cheered, to them these weren't people, they were lesser organisms who hadn't evolved to their level yet. The Soldiers retreated into the time portals and the gates shut. The warriors had their weapons from their time at their feet, a doome shaped electro field kept anyone from flying away or teleporting using technology or magic to escape into Storm's "perfect world".

"LET THE FIGHT BEGIN!!!"

((OOC: THE RULES!

1-9 Miss
10-18 Hit
19 Knockout
20 Insta-Kill

Add a +1 Modifier to each roll after you land a hit.

Modifiers stack so when you hit your opponent once, you get a +1 modifier, twice gets a +2 and so forth.

Your character enters the arena with any weapons they want.

No Teleporting away or escaping, that is not what this RP is about.

You attack once then your opponent attacks. So don't attack multiple times in a row.

Real life takes priority over RP so if it takes your opponent a little while to post their attack, so be it.

Win 3 matches and you win, good luck to all and have fun!))
Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

As the hood is removed from her face, Raine's eyes widen in disbelief at what was before her, her long ears splaying back against her head. It wasn't that long ago she was at her alchemy workshop in the village.
The Gnoll was young but had a tough look to her, years of experience evident on her scarred face. She closely resembled what those on Earth call a hyena, only standing on two feet like a person; intelligent, strong, nimble, a warrior.... A perfect candidate for the arena.
She was suprised to find she had been left with all her gear on, a long black leather trench coat trailing down to her digitigrade ankles. Everything else she wore was light, easy to move in, the perfect equipment for hunting down monsters and mythical beasts.
Looking around the arena she saw the millions of eyes staring in her direction, the guards retreating behind her... What was all this??
Down on the floor before her lay her favoured hunting and bounty equipment; two small silver revolvers complete with normal and silver bullets, a long lever-action rifle that had been alchemically modified to accept not only insanely high caliber rounds that kicked like a mule but also custom made capsules with alchemical properties, a double sided dagger one end steel the other an intricately carved wooden stake, silver throwing daggers, and finally a chest belt loaded with various vials of all kinds of alchemy concoctions.
Grabbing all her gear she looked ahead across the arena... Not quite sure what she had in store for herself.
Dante Nullen (played by Auscarsy)

When his hood was removed, Dante Spit at the nearest soldier. In return he got a fist to the jaw that sent him sprawling. The soldiers picked him up, very rough like, and removed his laser cuffs.
"Asshat..." he whispered to himself.
Dante had always been a scrappy one. Making sure people don't look down t him, always fighting to be respected. He never thought in his lifetime he'd be literally fighting for his life. He often drifted from city to city, picking up new scars from each place as a reminder that he has to stay strong or be left behind.
Last time he had been conscious the year was 2065, now he had no idea what year it was. There was laser cuffs on his hands moments before, so the technology was way more advanced than his own. Had that portal taken him into the future? Had he literally been robbed from his home and brought to the future. He couldn't believe his rotten luck.
He scratched his brown, spiky hair. He must have been hit in the head pretty hard because he had a knot on the back of his head, maybe that was how those soldiers had taken him without him seeing where he was. He had heard that voice announce that he'd been dragged here to fight. Just his luck. One minute he's scraping himself up from a bar fight in New York, now he's fighting again for more people's entertainment. He looked at the gear at his feet. He was given leather Gauntlets, a handheld taser, and a Glave.
"What the..." he said to himself. He had been trained with a Glave by his older brother (who specialized in Chinese martial arts) when he was a young boy, but how did they know that. He couldn't ponder on the question too long. The people around him were going to get their wits together soon. He attached the armor to his forearms and shoulders, placed the Taser on his belt, hefted his Glave and took off across the flat before he was sucker punched.

The cold rocky terrain began to shift, this arena was gigantic. Metal rods pushed up from the cold, tundra like soil. Strange green electricity charged through them befor they changed shape to look and feel like trees. Cameras hid in this new terrain and showed the spectators and viewers at home what was going on in the brush bellow. Fighters could form alliances or fight alone, it would start as one on one fights though... Storm and his council of advisors didn't want the fighters to team up just yet. They also had a way to jump back in time and bring the well behaved fighters back if they got killed in the arena!!! But only if the viewers voted the fighter back to life!!! That also wouldn't be for a while though, "Many will fight, many will die, but only one challengers can return to their times! WHO WILL WIN?!?!?!" Kill three people, and you get to go home, was it fair? No, was it cruel?? Yes, but no one got to rest until one person killed three others.
Rogr'um the Dishonor (played anonymously)

A new gate opened, Tallon was shoved out by a shadow... A Steward of a fighting guild almost two thousand years ago on a different world he was absolutely baffled when he appeared in the jungle like tree line dome. Before him lay nothing, he was a combat fighter and needed no weapons. But as he looked around he could see the Hyena and the other man, "hyena's are savage, probably should go for him..." He said noticing the Shadow and the portal had vanished.

Dashing forward with a powerful flap of his arm wings he attacked the hyena, trying to hit the humanoid with his claws before attempting to escape any retaliation attack by soaring into the trees for cover!

Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

Kill or not be killed... The answer was quite simple really. Raine had no intent on letting this place be her, she had been through much worse. Survival of the fittest... She liked those odds.
This place was hostile, a death trap, if she wanted to get out of this she'd have to play smart and carefully. She glances to the trees forming before her eyes. What is this...? Some kind of magic?
Slinging her rifle over her shoulder she sprints at a tree, jumps and climbs it with ease, her claws stabbing into the bark.
She felt comfortable in the canopy, much safer than down below, plus she now had the element of surprise.
Using the branches like spring boards she makes her way through the canopy, not sure where the hell she might end up... Or who she might run into
Dante Nullen (played by Auscarsy)

The flap of wings startled Dante. He turned to see a strange creature soaring above the newly sprouted treetops. This surprised Dante and he nearly lost his balance.
"What in Gods name.... They FLY now?" He said as he wiped beads of sweat from his brow. "I hate this more and more every second..." He tried to take cover in the brush. His dark colored clothing should provide enough camouflage in the dense thicket. Dante figured these people were trained fighters, so he had to out think instead of out maneuver. He DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to outrun something that could fly. "He may prove to be an issue..." Dante thought.
Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

She felt the talons of something attempt to scratch her from behind, luckily the creatures aim was off and missed. She landed on a branch and turned around, revolver drawn and scanning the canopy... But nothing. She draws her other revolver and holds them both at the ready, ready to shoot if the creature returns.

((roll is for a reaction shot, if that's cool by you guys :) as in she will shoot the first thing she sees :P ))

rolled 1d20 and got 20
reaction shot

Dante Nullen (played by Auscarsy)

(((Well 20 is an insta-kill so... )))
Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

((better not get in way then ;) the rolls never lie!! XD nah since its so early that can be counted as a stun, not a kill :P ))
Dante Nullen (played by Auscarsy)

"Just so we're clear! It wasn't my choice for you to be killed by me! But, uh. Shit happens, yah know?" Dante shouted. He was trying to calm his enemies, he figured if they didn't want to fight then they wouldn't if they had the chance. Then again maybe he was wrong and they'd hunt him down when they figured out where he was. But he tightened his hands on the Glaive he wielded and grew a bit more confident.
"Maybe we can sort this out! I know a good coffee shop where I come from!" He said unconvincingly. He doubted they'd just surrender, and the force field blocked out any chance of revolt. He swore under his breath and moved silently in the brush. Moving positions in case someone hunted him from the sound of his shouts.
Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

The guy couldn't be trusted... Humans never could. They are a greedy and selfish race. Raine turns her aim in the direction of the voice, her pistols ready to fire at anything that so much as made a sound.
Her focus was unfaltering, ears standing up, eyes scanning the brush beneath her methodically.
Rogr'um the Dishonor (played anonymously)

((So am I dead? If so its fine, those are the rules...))
Dante Nullen (played by Auscarsy)

((She decided not to shoot you... Yet...))
Rogr'um the Dishonor (played anonymously)

Tallon was hit, flipping threw the air he felt like he was dead. Smashing into a few branches on his way down his body crumpled into a heap unconscious. It was in some fake tall grass near the arena's edge, half hidden slightly but the other half was laying in plain slight. If anyone found him right now he's be a sitting duck!

((Bird pun))

((OOC: Tallon you should have died, but I guess it is up to Rhiannon if she wants to kill you or not. From now on though if someone gets hit with a 20+ they die. I may bring them back if they are a good sport and play with the rules but death is death.

Additional note: now every attack on Talon will be with a +1 Modifier because he is weakened!))
Dante Nullen (played by Auscarsy)

Crashes startled Dante. It wasn't that they were loud, no. Its that they were close. He froze and waited for a response to the crashes. They'll be expecting an injured warrior. Not a healthy hellraiser from New York. Lying in wait, he crouched low and gripped his Glaive tightly.
Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

The gunshot echoes through the artificial trees, smoke pouring from the side of Raine's revolver from the freshly fired gunpowder, the chamber turning with a click to the next round. She'd definitely heard the bullet hit... But was it a kill or not? She was uncertain.
Cocking the revolver the Gnoll leaps down from the tree, landing on her strong hind legs. She thought she had heard the thing crash... She began to move quietly through the brush to go investigate it's fate.
Rogr'um the Dishonor (played anonymously)

Blood soaked Tallon's shoulder and wings, the man had hit his neck. But with what? He had never even heard of a weapon that throws metal like this one did, he was luck it missed his artery, he was super lucky it missed his windpipe, and he was impossibly luck it missed his spine. Tallon was fading in and out of consciousness as he attempted to half roll over, completely hidden in psudograss before going unconscious.
Rhiannon (played by MrCheab)

As Raine approached the area of the crash, she slips one of her revolvers away gripping a lone one with both hands. She stops in her place, the grass up to her knee caps. This should be it... but the creature was no where to be seen. Lifting her nose to the air, the Gnoll takes a deep breath in, the overwhelming scent of fresh blood peaking her hyena instincts. If she could not see it, she would smell the beast out. In a crouched position she slowly moves to the source of the scent, following speckles of blood to the unconscious body of Tallon.
Raine furrows her brow. What kind of creature was this? In all her years of monster hunting she had never encountered anything like this. Harpy perhaps? Some kind of mutation? No... it looked intelligent.
Pointing her revolver at the creatures head, she lightly nudges his limp body with her footpaw, trying for some kind of response. "Hey, you?"
