Burmecians -are- rat-like people from Final Fantasy 9 and my knight is of that race. However, she is very much a disfigured character, that her race would most likely not affect gameplay. She has traveled far since her city was overtaken by the plague and it does not hold anything else for her. She is unlikely to return, but the answer is yes, she is of that race.
