"It's just where my ears were bleeding because the noise was too loud..." She said to him. She didn't care about herself...she cared about him.

he puts his hands on his face to fell the skin there, to make sure he was ok. then it dawned on him.

"you...you saved me again..didn't you?"

She nodded. "Yes I did..." She said.

"you keep saving me...one day i'll do omething for you...i'll return the favor somehow..."

he said

"You don't have to. You've already given me enough." She said to him.

"i've only given you what you deserve"

he said honestly

"Thank you." she says to him.

he slowly gets to his feet. memory of them...eating him...it made him feel sick. he was just glad that shadow came when she did.....

Shadow got up. She hugged him...

he wraps an arm around her and laughs.

"guess it's you who needs to protect me, huh?"

She nuzzled him a bit. "We need each other..." She says.

he gives her one last squeeze and begins to walk inside.

"come on, let's get some food for the day. besides, i gotta surprise for ya"

~A surprise?~ She thinks to herself and follows him.

the rest of the morning carried on as the two ate breakfast, cleaned themselves up, and changed clothes.

~I wonder what the surprise could be...Not knowing is driving me crazy...~ She thought to herself.

after a while, the two left the house and began walking east. after a bit ion stopped and looked back to her.

"you ready for the surprise?"

She nodded and smiled a bit.

he lead her through the treeline onto a ranch.

"i got permission from the owner. for today, you can ride horses all you want and play with all of the animals if you want."

She hugged him. "Thank you so much."

"hey, don't wast time here with me, you're burning daylight go have fun!"

he said with a smile
