In the year 4023, Blood sport was legalized. Life, in all it's various forms, was no longer deemed valuable. Since any life taken could easily be replaced or revived with the technology at the time. This opened up many once illegal hobbies to be public and even garrisoned death tournaments to be held almost annually. In the year 4099 the Universal Blood Sport Association, or UBBA for short, decides that entering the new Millennium with the greatest Death Match Tournament would spark a huge interest in the "Sport" and boost their ratings across the Galaxy. So the head Executives come up with a brilliant and brutal idea.... Take warriors from histories past! The William Wallaces! The Julius Caesars! The Shaka Zulus! All the marvelous and murderous champions of histories past are fair game. Using time travel technology (Developed in the late 3700's) the UBBA sends soldiers into the past to collect champions worthy of fighting in the arena for Billions to see! Each contender is thrown into the arena, bound and blindfolded. The guards will then release their binds and set them into the Synthetic environment, A humongous forest with a large lake to the west and and caves dotting the south, the contenders will be released to the north east. Will this be the most magnificent bloodshed ever witnessed by viewers in their home? Hopefully so!
Just as the tournament is about to start, the bustling live crowds grow quiet from behind their protected mesh cages, observing the quiet landscape with their own eyes and through monitors. A voice suddenly booms over the loudspeakers, "Ladies and gentlemen, Boys and girls of all ages, the UBBA proudly presents the very first Time-Warp Takedown!" the crowd erupts at this. "The warriors and champions competing here tonight will be some of times deadliest fighters. Make no mistake about it, folks... There will be blood! Betrayal! And tons and tons of carnage! But, if an opponent can manage to kill three other warriors in a row, he or she will be crowned a Time-Warp champion and sent home! Forever to be remembered in our UBBA Hall of Fame.

Combat will be dice rolls, obey the roll. Be fair to your opponents roll, anyone disregarding rolls will be eliminated right away.
Rolls:
1-9 Miss
10-18 Hit
19 Knockout
20 Insta-Kill
Add a +1 Modifier to each roll after you land a hit.
Modifiers stack so when you hit your opponent once, you get a +1 modifier, twice gets a +2 and so forth.
Your character enters the arena with any weapons they want.
As for abilities, anything below deity will be allowed.
Anything and Everything will have a chance of missing or malfunctioning. So no meta-gaming.
No Teleporting away or escaping, that is not what this RP is about.
You attack once then your opponent attacks. So don't attack multiple times in a row.
Real life takes priority over RP so if it takes your opponent a little while to post their attack, so be it.
Win 3 matches and you win, good luck to all and have fun!))

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
The world IS war, but there may be RPs that don't feature it. Warhammer Fantasy/40k, etc.

Just post in and enjoy. All new contestants are entered through a portal escorted by armed guards (Whom you cannot kill so don't try), from that point on.
