“..Does tomorrow at 4:50 work for you?”

He nodded.

“’Kay. See you tomorrow, boss.” She gave another half-wave.

He waved.
Moon followed KK.

“Thank you,” she told her again with a smile.

She smiled at her. "Of course. What are friends for?"

"Do you feel like doing something? I'd prefer staying out for as long as I can."

"Whatever you want." She said.

“Do you want to watch a movie, or go out to eat? I’m up for anything, really.”

She thought for a moment. "Wanna go to the library? There's no one there at this time."

“Sure, I like reading. Where’s it at?”

She began walking towards it. "Follow me please."

"Sure thing." KK followed her friend.

She looked to her as they walked. "I hope you don't mind me asking, but, why did the witch curse you?"

Her expression dampened a little. “I didn’t do anything. She was mad at my parents because my father was going to marry her son, but fell in love with my mother. Her curse was that their children would be monsters. They hadn’t believed her until after I was born.”

She stopped and looked her in the eye. "You're not a monster." She said and hugged her.

“Needless to say they never want kids anymore,” she continued, smiling bitterly.

She kept hugging her. "You're not a monster, KitKat."

Eventually, she hugged her back, pushing aside her thoughts on the matter.

She let go after a few minutes. "You okay?" She asked.
