I'm a fan of DC comics, Marvel Comics, Science Fiction and Fantasy. I have come here to roleplay, and find some new online contacts. I also love nation builders. I can't have pets, but I did like computers even though I don't know much about them. So are there any banned character abilities?

Hello, and welcome to RPR! There are not anything that is necessarily banned when it comes to character abilities, but you should always ask your RP partner's opinion over details like that for your character. I hope you have a good time here!

Honestly, like the others have stated, it depends on who you're roleplaying with and what world you're roleplaying in. Can't fly in a world that bans flight abilities, or be a mermaid in a world where they're extinct, you know? Obvious stuff depending on what you and your partner have discussed.

The RPR itself doesn't have an official setting, style of play, or system (such as D&D or whatever). We just aim to provide the tools for individuals or groups of RPers to RP however they please -- you'll need to ask/check the rules about banned abilities, or background restrictions, etc, when joining any group. But there isn't really anything of that sort blanket-banned by the site.
