The boy sighed a bit, flopping against a building in the alleyway.
He was tired. Avoiding a few hunters, he could finally relax a bit.

First on his agenda... steal some cash for supplies and food, and get the heck outta this town
and move on to a new one.

There was a low growl and a thud, a figure soon limping out from the darker end of the alley.

Sensing a new presence, they stopped, and tipped their head slightly as if listening, the colours fading away from the porcelain mask they wore, leaving it plain once again.

The boy looked over, a bit startled.
"...Uhm... hello?..." He asked a bit uneasily.

"I don't want any trouble."

Stepping back, the white-haired figure listened, cautious at first, a small stream of colour returning to his mask, taking their place as narrow, red eyes, blinking.

64 smiled a little, "...Shy or something? He asked simply.
Stepping out to show himself.

Glaring, he shook his head, a frown materializing onto his mask.
"Shy? No..not at all, not at all.."

64 looked a bit uneasy. The mask was creepy.
"Oh?" He crossed his arms in a cocky manner.
"Scared then...?" He grinned.

"..Of what~?" The masks mouth had twisted into a crooked grin itself, revealing pointed teeth.
"Not afraid of you, that's for sure, for sure.~"

64 felt a chill run up his spine at that but walked over calmly.
"Oh really? You seemed scared to show yourself didn't you?" He tried to force a cocky grin,
but he felt uneasy about the other.

His cat-like ears leaned back showing his un-easiness despite trying to hide it.

"I tend to survey a possible meal or threat, you are neither though it seems." He leaned against a wall casually, eyes narrow as he watched him.

64 didn't know if he felt relieved or a bit paranoid. Meal? Threat?
He walked up to the other, looking right at him, "Well then we have no business." He smirked,
"So how about you get lost?" He was fiesty. He didn't mean to be sometimes, but he had developed an attitude over time. The chain dangling from his neck rattled with his movements.

"Tough talk for a little guy, a little guy~" He teased, the chain suddenly grabbing his attention and he eyed it with a smirk.
"What's this we have here, hmm~?"

64 glared a bit, noting to himself that the strange male repeated things.
He paused at the person noticing the chain and glanced away, "It's nothing." He then glared.
"B-besides! What's with that mask!? It's freaky!"

He huffed, offended.
"This? It's the only reason I can see anything..!" He scowled bitterly, hoping to leave it at that.

64 returned the cocky attitude from before, poking the mask, "Well... you look creepy."
He turned away, the chain swinging swiftly with his quick movement.
"But then again, I've seen worse."

"Have you now..?" He pouted, swatting at the chain, that's not the first time he'd be called creepy and it most likely wouldn't be the last, either..

64 flinched a bit then yanked the chain away. "...It's not a toy! What are you? A cat?"
He asked in irritation, seeming flustered over it.
He exhaled slowly. "Whatever. What's your name anyways?"

He withdrew his hand, frowning at the reaction before looking back to him.
"My name is Kurtis-Rutgar Jones..though I really don't know how I got my name."

64 just seemed a bit shy now, keeping the chain close to him.
"Kurtis huh..." He replied slowly.

"...Well, I'm 64. Or at least, that's what I'm called."
