"Why, thank youuu!!!" Lily said, smiling widely. Aza was holding her red nose, "gee, you'd at least think the cleric would also cast a healing spell so her sister isn't sore after pinching her nose"

"I would, but I don't feel like it"

"You're mean" she pouted, looking away from Lily who just laughed. "I thought you wanted to prove you were older than you look" she said blankly, as Aza was quick to snap her head towards the lavender haired girl and glared at her, before Lily hugged the tiny girl. "Aaawww! I'm just teasin'! I'm sorry, sis!!"

Valen stood by and watched, as usuall not sure what to do. If it ever looked like either of them hlanced his direction he just stood there and smiled.

Aza just grunted, before pulling away and jumping off of the counter, running to a wood door in the far corner. She was quick to enter through a smaller compartment on the door before slamming the door to it. Lily just chuckled, bouncing the lit up orb from one hand to another. "Looks like she's gone in for the day. Or she's just really mad at me...haha..." Lily chuckled before smiling at Valen. "Welp, I'm closin' up shop for the day, so...wanna go do something? Like, explore the village?"

Valen gazed after Aza as she slammed the door then back to Lily as she continued speaking.

"Sure," he said with a smile. "That sounds like fun." He glanced back towards Aza. "She gonna be alright?"

"Yeah. She does this often. She'll just go in her room and prob sneak out of something. The thing is, I wish she just let me give her the spell before she did that though." she gave a concerned, worried look towards the door, and then walked over to the exit. "Come on, I might as well show you around and give you the grand tour." her look of worry was brief, as she quickly covered it with a smile, but her eyes almost seemed to dull, a small twinkle in her pupils.

Valen followed Lily to the door, noticing the look in her eyes. "Are you sure you are ok? Your eyes look... Dull... You said your eyes change with your mood."

He shuffled his feet and stuck his hands in his pockets. He wasn't trying to pry but he didn't want her running around giving him a tour out of a feeling of obligation if she felt sje needed to be watching after her sister.

"Ah-, I-I'm fine. I-it's just...I'm not sure if she's safe alone...she's got an illness, but...the illness involves me having to use a healing spell to make sure she's fine all alone." she then gave a sad smile before opening the door and stepping out, "but I'm sure she'll be fine...if anything does happen, she'd come running to me. She always does." her eyes brightened a little, but barely. "Come on!"

"I'd really love for you to show me around Lily... But I don't want you to worry about Aza the entire time," Valen told her. "Maybe you should goncheck on her before we head out?"

"Nah, nah. She's mad, she won't let me approach, or even speak to her until she comes to me. Let's go." Lily responded, smiling lightly.

"Ok," Valen said, still unsure. "If you are certain."
He walked along beside Lily as she took him theough the town. It was magnificent, every time he looked at the buildings and the dofferent creatures that lived there it made him smile.

"How many different kinds of creatures live here?" He asked.

"Ehhh...last time I checked...uhh...I don't...remember. About 50 species I think..." Lily said, as a large building came to view. It looked like a cute and cozy cottage, with a sign reading 'Golden Leaf'. She pointed at the building with sparkles in her eyes, "That building is one my favorite places to hang out at outside of the clinic! That's Golden Leaf Cafe, and they grow and make everything they need and serve. It's all fresh!" she hummed "they have the best cakes!" she was really honest. Golden Leaf was known for it's sweets and teas, and it was simply the best.

"Fifty?" He said, mostly to himself. "Wow..."

"It sounds really nice," Valen smiled. "Should we stop in?" He looked around at all the creatures. It still amazed him.

He looked back at Lily. "Thanks for showing me around." He smiled.

"You're welcome! And that sounds awesome! I haven't had any of their sweets yet today!!! Come on!" she giggled like a child and rushed towards the cafe, twirling around to face Valen as her eyes shimmered. A few people had turned to look at her, chuckling and such. A few even shouted greetings towards her, but they seemed to go through one ear and out the other.

Valen smiled as Lily twirled around and looked at him. "If they are as good as you say, I'm sure I'm going to go here often," he said with a hint of laughter in his voice. "Do they happen to have ice cream?"

He looked at Lily hopefully. "It's been over a year since I have had ice cream!"

"Oh, oh, oh!!" she smiled, "yep! They have all sorts of ice cream!!!" she spun around once on her heel excitedly. "COME ON!" Lily opened the door to the cafe and a calm, comforting gust of warm air hit her, along with the smell of fresh cakes and breads. She hummed again, sniffing the air happily.

Valen followed her in anxiously, smiling at her twirling. He had been so long with his depressed drear self that it was nice to be around someone who was always so happy.

He breathed deep as the gust of air hit them. He had never smelled so many wonderful smells in one place! He looked at Lily, not sure wheather they were to take a seat or wait to be seated.

"Do they have mint ice cream?" He asked.

"Why, they do!" She lead him inside; the place had creatures of all sorts inside. It was warm, the area bathed in a faint gold light from above, and small ceiling fans spun around to at least cool everyone just a little. The walls looked as if they were made from dark colored logs, and the floor was a smooth, there were wood tables and comfy, soft chairs, and some booths too. She then walked over to a counter, and a girl with dog ears stood behind it, smiling and waving at Lily.

"Hi, Lily. Is this the new guy everyone was talking about?"

"Yes, this is."

"Alrighty then!! Well, do you want the usual?"

"What do you think the answer is?" The girl only laughed lightly before writing whatever the usual was down, before looking at Valen with gold canine eyes. Lily turned her head to look at him, smiling still.

Valen looked arpund as they walked theough the front door. The place was quite homey and welcoming.

"I'd like some mint ice cream," he told girl at the counter shyly. "And... Maybe something else, but I'm not sure what."

Valen looked at Lily. "What's good?" He asked her. "I just need something to eat... But I'm not sure what to get."

"uhhh...hmm" Lily thought, before speaking up, "how about a chocolate cupcake to go with the mint icecream?" she asked, staring at him with a raised brow. "For some reason, I see you as a chocolate person..."

Valen smiled. "Sounds good to me." He turned to the girl at the desk and said, "I giess I'll take a chocolate muffin also."

He looked back to Lily. "I do like chocolate."
