Tell (played by berserker544)

(Have you ever read the book 'DIES THE FIRE'? Great book, basically, for those who do not know what the book is about, all electric items stop working, no power can be generated, cars won't start, and guns won't shoot. The whole world is thrown back into the dark ages. There will be lions, tigers and bears (oh my) that the zoo keepers had to set free, cannibals that could no longer find real food, slaves, warlords, and so much more.)

(Also, Tell isn't a werewolf in this RP. Sorry for any confusion )

On march 6th, the world changed as we all know it. At 7:32 there was a flash, burning everyone's sight for a split second. No real damage was done really to everyone's body, but what the flash has cause was something else. Nothing works anymore. If it needed power, it won't turn on, car engines won't start, and no power can be generated. Whether it's sun, coal, steam or air, nothing will bring the power back. Not even nuke power works, though the rads are still there.

It has been four days since this happened, the city you are in has been tearing it self apart, police are no longer able to control the public. The times of guns have ended, and the sword has return.

Warlords of gangs are now in charge of cities, people flee, trying to get away, trying to find comfort in the last pockets the old government still holds.

Tell finds himself in a pawnshop, this one carried swords and crossbows, though nothing great...He had himself a mean looking broad sword, and was looking over a few crossbows now, with the light from a torch, for it was the middle of the night. The owner of the shop doesn't live in this city, so he is no where near by. Tell hopes to find a good amount of weapons then take off to find his family to make sure they are alright...
(Too fantastic a scenario NOT to use him in.)

Cody Wesson looked haunted. Not a completely new look for him, rather he seemed more haunted than usual. The holsters at his side still contained the two Smith&Wesson revolvers, though neither of them worked. They hadn't worked in the last four days and if he hadn't been paranoid before this, he would have lost what little sanity was left to him now.

It was only thanks to his best friend and cohort in crime, Roosevelt, that he wasn't any worse off. Though that wasn't saying much. And so Cody had decided to head for the one place where weapons that did still work, were able to be found. He wasn't exactly sure what he was looking for; something like a gun but didn't require much skill to operate.

A gun store nearby that had been decimated by police and looters looking for a good steal, was picked over but not completely void of weapons. Cody entered by the back door, knowing that the owner had long since vacated the premises once word got out about guns no longer working.

A crossbow seemed to be the best to choose from, though Cody grabbed a couple of extra .357 rounds just in case. Along with the crossbow, he also found bolts and attempted to load one. He was in luck as the crossbow had a winch to it, allowing him to pull back the string without needing to pull it back by hand--which would undoubtedly by harder.

He stuck the bolt into the groove marked for it, and then turned to find a good target. Something dangled in the window--a piece of fabric. He squeezed the trigger and...heard glass breaking.

"Damn," he muttered, eyes wide as the bolt went flying through the window. He hadn't thought such a primitive weapon could unleash such power. He scrambled to find more bolts for his new toy.
