Auroch (played by Minerva)

Auroch's day started off like many. He woke from a secondary den amidst the land after checking primary territory. To cover all of what their father left them was a daunting task. He climbed from the gorge near waterfall's spray, and augmented the smell of wet dog in a roll of unidentifiable muck. He couldn't help it. It smelled disgusting but it just felt soooo good. The grizzly-proportioned lupine shook off, taking a fallen log bridge over the rapids at a trot. Only a short distance marked his memorable part of the terrain. Unwelcoming deadlands drifted in sand, and beyond that the remnants of the cannibal lands were cracked earth and daunting shadow. Here, memory footprints were few, and most unfriendly. Still, towards territory's edge the dormant volcanic mountains were lush. Pressing through sandy winds with nothing to scent by but 'burnt earth', a refreshing breeze between rising stones told him something new. He rarely crossed the gorge, much less explored so far. In the name of the pack, so to(c)

Speak, he took a few pitstops by hiking a leg and remarking that the land was owned. Different flora began to tickle his senses, leaving him wandering nonsensically about with a strange spring to his step for his massive size. His dark pelt was peppered in whites beneath maw and chest; white boots were on forelegs, and his eyes, unnaturally glowing electric blue, were highlighted in the outstanding white. Odd markings were carved to him, a naturally strung necklace held leathery satchels at his sides and near to his chest, and a piercing hung mottled feathers from an ear. He ... explored.
Thunder (played by ThunderWolf12)

Thunder was abandoned by his parent's a long time ago. He didn't have a den so he slept on a large rock in the middle of a river. This morning when he woke up, he stretched and went to jump across the river to reach the shore. Unfortunatly, he didn't quite make it and he fell into the freezing water with a yelp. He struggled, but finally pulled himself out of the evil clutches of the water he figured that was just another way he could die today. He made his way to the huge waterfall to hunt. He caught to medium sized fish and wolfed them down before continuing on. He reach the gorge and the scent of scortched earth hit him. He coughed then lifted his snout to smell around. He smelled that someone had been scent marking this territory but forged on anyway.

-Go back.- All of no one told him, but he knew that mind's voice. He turned and saw no one. Of course. "But there's so many new..." he tucked his ears, feeling scolded even by silence. Perhaps some great travesty was going to befall the land. Father had always been keen on that, even in death. As he turned and more quickly barged back through the sands, something new greeted him in the winds. Wolf. It hadn't been there when he first passed. Intruder! Just when he was ready to act riled and practiced a few irritated looking steps to make sure he felt macho to whoever was sneaking around... the ruse dropped quickly as he spotted a tawny pup amidst the broken earth. First ears came forward, then laid back sadly. He approached. Perhaps he looked somehow noble from his size, and the glowing eyes that betrayed his approach to Thunder before the sands wholy did. ...but by the time he was near the little one, his tongue lolled out dumbly and head cocked in a less than refined manner. He let out a testing whine.

(You have to remember, Thunder is about your size. I said he was very big in his profile)

Thunder turned and bared his teeth, revealing long fangs and sharp pointy teeth. He let out loud throaty growl and lept onto the animal in front of him. He ripped at his neck until he tasted blood. Satisfied, he jumped off the animal and let out another growl.

(Ah, I misunderstood what phase you were playing him in. ...similarly, Auroch is over 5 feet at the shoulder, which puts his cranium at seven feet or more depending on his posture. Also please don't auto hit. Now to my post.) So it WAS an intruder. Not only had a dog ignored the scent markings, he had attacked. And, as it had been far from a pup, he had approached with brazen and irritated gait. The fellow wolf trying to leap on him as he approached was met with Auroch bucking back like a stallion and tossing his head. Mane, full and thick, was a difficult penetration and as the other went for his neck, so did he for Thunder's with savage growl. That is, of course, after the other would have to plow past oversized paws, typically awkward in nature and making the lone hunt nearly impossible. Size was rarely actually to his advantage, but it seemed that here, today, it would be. One foreleg reached the turf, and another tried to wrap over his attacker. The hold was meek at best, lacking an opposable thumb. (c)

--Rear legs powered forward. Either the other brute would back away or he was due to be in a full death lock with another behemoth dog, who at first puncture of skin rather than mouthful of fur sook to shake his head viciously. Just because he acted a goon did not mean the Wild-Yashin alpha hadn't taught him, even bodychecked him a few times for attitude. But ultimately, Neji's few inches of size difference had taught Auroch he wasn't the only big dog on the block. Hopefully the scuffle would end before too much blood fell, or Auroch's reasoning for typically passive behavior would become evident, as vampiric and demonic bloodlines would soon race to see which would escape first. If Thunder continued, he would only further rile. A moment of seperation would instead be met with rabid snapping of the maw in warning, fur bristling him into a big, black monster and curled lips revealing the serraded teeth and overextended canine fangs--shorter than Wehfre's, but more utilitarian due to that. During their exchange that he didn't even have chance to sink teeth in amidst the bucking, he let out two basal barks, wrought with spittle, "BACK! OFF!"

(Sorry my posts are so short, I'm suffering from writers block.)
"Whatever.", the Thunder mummbled and ran deeper in the territory. He stopped when he was about. two miles from the bear

There was a moment of shock as the other turned and ran. Auroch didn't have the best etiquette, but he knew what deserved a butt kicking. He took to sprinting after the other. Bearish size, but he was a wolf, and this was his home. While he knew not the deadlands that well, it was flat and open, sprawling, and easy enough to spot the other wolf. Depending on which direction thunder sprinted, he may have been shocked at the result of the chase; back over the river and through the woods, he not only could cut through the path the other large wolf would have to barrel through dense foliage, but knew his shortcuts better than the back of his paw, at times seeming like a far more nimble animal. He may have never left the land, but only because he feared leaving familiarity. If the other sprinted towards mountains, it was more a stretch of indurance than memory. "Not what I meant by back off!" he trumpeted after the fellow lupine. Before deciding success of chase the player first needs to know direction of sprint.
Thunder (played by ThunderWolf12)

Thunder thought to himself, "If I call back to him, I'll give up my position. " He turned to the left and kept pressing on, at a sprint.

He had visual confirmation to begin the chase, and little reason to fall too far behind. If the other was hiding at all, it would be in the mountains, as... the player wasn't given detail. Hiding in the forest would be like hiding in his own fur. He let out an irritated growl, exploring the scent--he had it fresh in his mind from their tussle, fur of the other unavoidably in his nose and mouth. He huffed, head down and ears up. He only didn't know the air flow of the mountains, but drew close by scent and listened by ear. "Hey. You want to be in the land, don't be an idiot." he barked out. "I could call the pack and they'd hunt you down. Or you could be smart, and show some respect and maybe get somewhere to eat and sleep. What will it be?"
Thunder (played by ThunderWolf12)

Thunder stepped out of the trees and said, "Fine. I'm leaving." He walked toward the entrance of the gorge so he could go back to his measly home by the river.
