Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

As soon as the girls were done with her, Guinevere bolted. She made her way out of the room and through the castle. Climbing the tallest staircase she could find, she made her way to the highest point in the palace and stayed there. She didn't even bother looking at herself, she didn't want to. she knew she wouldn't recognize herself if she did.
"Well I trust your skill and judgment, make it very noticeable and enticing, hair somewhat loose and flirty" nodded Morgana pleased with the outfit so far thus trusting her ability

"We must hurry so as to not delay them" urged Morgana
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She nodded and began, going quickly. She finished and showed her.
"It's perfect, here onwards you're free to join the feast with your champion. I will not require services" assured Morgana coming out to find Merthyr already waiting for her.

She took his arm letting him walk her to Gawain and Morgause, bowing before the queen and knight in a lady like courtesy.

"Princess Morgana of Camelot" introduced Merthyr formally glancing around surprised to find Guinevere missing but assuming she had yet to be ready
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

Guinevere would not be seen for many hours, it concerned many suprisingly as she had many friends in the palace.
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She finished herself, having he hair tied up with two pieces framin her face and light natural makeup. She smiled and walke out.
Merthyr sat by Morgause, quiet and tense, his fist tightened around the goblet at having to witness Gawain flirting with Morgana openly before his very eyes, more than willing to clash swords or deal him a good punch but keeping restrained

"I am concerned about your maid Guinevere, I am sorry if my invitation has left her too indisposed to consider attending" apologized Merthyr politely
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

Lady Morgause chuckled as he said this.
"She's probably in the Highest room in the castle, she goes there when stressed."
Josh gazed at Morgana dancing with Gawain, finding their dance appealing then he turned to look at Amber

"Would you care to dance? or come to the gardens?" Quizzed Josh cheekily seeking proximity to Amber with no less liberties Gawain was having towards Morgana

Merthyr nodded in understanding at her comment

"I'm sorry, your majesty, I didn't intend to cause offense, distress or anguish to your lady-in-waiting so as to hamper her attendance, I was simply following master's orders when I offered to accompany her" apologized Merthyr, watching with gritted teeth as Gawain and Morgana danced too closely to one another, borderline scandalous in his own opinion considering they weren't even engaged

Morgana didn't shy away from becoming the enchanting seductress she was known to be at times, which had Gawain and even Merthyr mesmerized beyond their senses along other knights and lords present. She possessed unrivalled beauty and wealth and knew well how to flaunt both as she danced and twirled with grace, even Taff could not help feel the attraction, his bewitched eyes drifting towards her, briefly captivated like the rest when she tapped into powers she didn't know she was using

After looking for a while somewhat speechless, Merthyr shook his head to not get caught staring, coughing to make Taff snap out of it and pay attention to the table service

"Aunt, please, allow me to serve you in Guinevere's absence since it is my fault and doing that she isn't here" offered Merthyr Tydfil taking Morgause's goblet and refilling it for her

"I honestly wasn't aware my presence could cause her such distress. A couple of nights ago she seemed quite keen if adamant on getting close to one another after finding me in little to no attire, to the point Sir Mordred felt the necessity to retire so as to not invade our privacy. She certainly did not shy away from physical contact either when we were alone. Seems I misunderstood her duty of care for her affection. I will make amends at earliest opportunity" confessed and promised Merthyr

((OOC: using Mordred ))

Upon hearing such revelations Lancelot gawked, eyes bulging widely and jaw dropping open yet unable to speak at all. He pursed his lips and felt enraged and betrayed too; it was a terrible breach of trust that his good friend could take such liberties at the expense of his sister. He leaned closer, both fists pressed against the table staring, questioning and frowning at Sir Mordred.

"Is such appalling account of events true, sir knight?" Quizzed Lancelot unwilling to accept such indecent confession could be for real, such deeds unthinkable from his dedicated and dutiful sister and the otherwise honourable crown prince, but if found to be true, then the dishonor would compel swift and firm action from Lancelot's part to restore the family's good name.

"Uhh.. well... I didn't see much myself... but I heard enough to retire to my own rooms" admitted Sir Mordred placed in the spotlight suddenly and unexpectedly, after being named by Merthyr himself thus unable to deny his involvement in what appeared to be an ugly matter

"All I can confirm is that Merthyr wasn't wearing a shirt or vest to cover his chest when I left the sleeping quarters" notified with a small smirk and sly smile of mischief, a serious duel between Merthyr and Lancelot far more appealing than the dance and romance he was being forced to endure

((OOC: end of Mordred usage))

"Well, Guinevere is but a young, naive and beautiful maid and Merthyr is the crown prince, he can swoon over any maidens he pleases and make them all his if he so chooses, your sister included, and there's naught you can do about it. I'm sure she wouldn't refuse his untoward advances given his looks and wealth anyways" remarked lord knight Prodius, the commander of the knights and armies in Orkney, who was now calling into question Guinevere's integrity, thus goading Lancelot into fighting

Lancelot took the offense most personal indeed, he placed a firm grip on Prodius shoulder, punching the man straight into the face and released him just in time to watch him tumble backwards.

He marched to the queen's table, stopping in front of Merthyr who looked weary at the clearly enraged knight, the only thing keeping him safe from the deadly looks was the fact that the former knight did not have armour or sword to hand.

Lancelot bowed before royalty then looked straight at Merthyr clearly displeased and irritated

"Your highness has taken illicit liberties at my sister's expense causing grave tarnish upon my good name, though I crave dealing your lordship a well earned battering for your foul deeds, my knightly oath refrains me from laying hands upon you, as my liege."informed Lancelot clearly at war with himself to restrain the eagerness of a well dealt punch

Merthyr "Wait! what?!"

Lancelot was as serious as he ever got to be as he continued "Honour compels me to demand suited retribution, thus you are to find the damsel you have grieved and make amends, also consider yourself formally challenged to a duel, as you please, when you please, failing to accept will force me to declare your cowardice and her innocence by means of your forfeit" formally challenged.

"The same goes for my lord Prodius consider both your honour and reputations contested by means of fair jousting, on your chosen terms" scoffed Lancelot the two gauntlets thrown before Prodius and Merthyr
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She nodded. "I hear the gardens are lovely." She smiled. She looked at Morgana and smiled, knowing she hated doing this, but for the sake of peace did it anyway.
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

"My dear boys, she is only running late. Another thing, the other night I asked Guinevere to go to Merthyr and treat his wounds. She was there for no more than an hour before returning to my side."
Lady Morgause attempted to explain to The angered men.
"And Merthyr I do so apologize for her tardiness, she is only a girl after all. A young handsome man has asked her to dance, and she is affraid not to be pretty enough on account that for the longest time you were above her station." She pauses for a moment as her gaze shifts from the men to the door. Peaking through the crack of the door to the grand room, was the girls head that moved about as if scannning the room.
Lancelot had already left by the time Morgause spoke, awaiting news of the acceptance whilst working at chopping wood to let his anger out

"My lesser condition is but a passing circumstance till the curse is lifted or Sir Mordred deems my penalty is fulfilled" nodded Merthyr in understanding

"Though I must make good on the challenge, aunt, we cannot have cowardice and dishonor proclaimed against the royal family" sighed Merthyr taking up the gauntlet and quest

"For now let's feast and consider these matters later." muttered Merthyr coming to greet Guinevere personally

Josh was none the wiser having escorted Amber to the moon lit gardens
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She looked around with a smiled place upon her lips. "I love the gardens, they're always so quiet."
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

Guinevere stood in the doorway Cautiously. She had never been one for formal events, they seemed to look as if a way for the upper class to beg for attention to her. She wore a simple modest white dress, for she was in no hurry to impress any man. Nor did she wish to attract attention, though that didn't seem to work out for her. For as she entered the room, through the open window on the opposing wall behind her the rays of the moon cast a silver halo about her frame. Her dress fit her loosely and touched just below her ankles, adorned just above her right ear within the strands of her hair. Was yet again a simple Lilly, and around her neck a small locket made of faded gold that she clutched as she entered the room.
"With your leave... I have a damsel to make amends to. I might as well give rumours some base. If I am to fight for the right to her attentions, best indulge in them a little while I can" muttered Merthyr leaving the queen's side and come to meet Guinevere.

At the time Gawain and Morgana had finished their dance and were coming to enquire about the tense altercation that had caused Lancelot to leave.

"Mother... care to tell me why the finest knight of Camelot would dare cause tension during the feast and make himself absent after?" Quizzed Gawain curiosity having the better off him.

Merthyr reached Guinevere bowing courteous and offering her his arm.

"I deeply apologize for the distress I have caused you with my invitation here tonight and also for causing others to cast doubt upon your reputation, rest assured I will fight for the right to visit you all the same that all may know our relation is but honest friendship and appreciation through your brother whom I hold in highest esteem" confessed Merthyr glancing towards the dance floor. "I sincerely regret his abrupt departure" muttered Merthyr

"Would you care to dance or would you rather dine?" Offered Merthyr letting her choose

"These roses are beautiful but less so than yourself" recited Josh walking her around.
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She blushed and giggled. "Thank you." She sat on one of the benches, taking in the scenery.
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

"Well sir Lancelot has made a claim against my nephew. He appears to think That Merthyr has plucked the petals of a certain flower."
She stated as she noded her head in the direction of Merthyr and Guinevere.
She was glad Merthyr wasn't looking directly at her, or he would've seen the way her lips twitched slightly at the word friendship.
"It is no bother Merthyr, I've just never been one for stuffy parties."
She tells him with a smile as she avoids his gaze.
"I can't choose what I wish to do really."
"That is absurd a prince of Camelot would never betray his closest friend and finest knight in such manner, surely not?" Dismissed Gawain baffled

"I mean... as the crown prince he has rights to all the maidens of the lands, Guinevere included, but... he is betrothed already... he wouldn't stoop that low, would he?" Quizzed Gawain observing the couple with newly found interest to figure out the truth of the claims

"What do you think of all this lady Morgana?" Quizzed Gawain turning his attention on her who was fidgeting with the ring Merthyr had given her

"Well, my lord, he is but a man at the end of the day and most men are weak, they take advantage of their position of power to deflower the very maidens they were supposed to protect, Conrad Tydfil a living example of it, the truth of such claim is only known to them" concluded Morgana mortified, a hint of bitterness in her voice despite her calmness

"My liege, sir Lancelot du Lac feels very strongly about it, I assure you he has most certainly thrown down the gauntlet at my feet for questioning his sister" assured Prodius, rubbing the bruised cheek

Gawain frowned turning to the warrior.

"On usual circumstances, sir Lancelot has always been the finest champion of Camelot, not known to fail or be defeated, now that he is seriously offended, you can consider your life forfeit" assured Gawain with certainty.

"Mother... I cannot permit such a duel, Merthyr's life is in grave peril otherwise. I will have champions appointed for each of the offended parties, neither can refuse, they are not even squires at present, after all. Leave it with me I will sort it out" muttered Gawain taking his goblet to drink, his eyes drifting to Merthyr who seemed comfortable and enjoying himself in Guinevere's company
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

"You are not to interfere Gawain, this is a matter of honor and law. I cannot change that, however I can change the rules of the game."
She says as she steadied her gaze on Guinevere and Merthyr.
"So Amber, would you like to dance as well?" Offered Josh cutting a rose and giving it to her

Josh stood closer to Amber frowning whenever he glanced back at Taff, glaring at the servant and causing him to look elsewhere sensing the threat
