Morgana looked around the room unable to offer much at all, coming over to the table.

"We have the white Lilly flower that she was wearing at the feast... will it suffice?" asked Morgana looking for other items but finding none to hand

"She normally serves queen Morgause and lives in Orkney, we do not have much... mayhap the brother, sir Lancelot might have more items that belonged to her. Has he been informed of her absence?" quizzed Morgana hoping the boy would have notified his close friend of such dreadful news
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

"The lily is perfect." She smiled and took the lily. "Now, I said this would be risky, because once I enable the spell it will lead you to her. The way it does this is by glowing, the brighter it is the closer you are." She opened the vial. "Are you sure?"
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

As quick as a flash there came a knock upon Morgana's door. It sounded quick and rushed, as if whom ever was on the other side was in a panick.
"Come in, come in" invited Morgana unsure as to who could be knocking on the door with such haste, coming to open the door personally to check

She let Taff and Amber continue undisturbed, now that magic was permitted again in Camelot
Mordred (played by Guingamor)

"I haven't been able to find him," he said, worry seeping into his face. "I think he left with the knights." He could only imagine what Lancelot would be going through once he's informed.

"I'm sure," said Taff.

A servant finally came to inform Mordred of the man's recovery. He made his way to the infirmary, somewhat surprised to see Sir Gawain there.
"Oh Lancelot wouldn't leave without permission. He was handed over to Sir Prodius at his service, remember? He is probably running errands for him. Look... over there... out there in the field." spotted Morgana in the far distance, Lancelot sporting a thin white if dirtied shirt, undone and dishovelled a little, as he worked away alone by the forest entrance, dedicated to his chores as he always was.

Perhaps it were better to ask Sir Prodius permission for us to inform him of the sister's absence, else he may be upset and walk away and be punished for it further" mused Morgana thoughtfully watching Lancelot in the distance chopping and carrying wood and heavy logs after displeasing Prodius with his refusal to fight

"It were better if we can find Guinevere before he is even made aware of her disappearance, all the better for all those involved. Go on Amber, do what you can... I am sure you and Taff together can find her" encouraged Morgana

Sir Gawain looked up at Mordred light headed forcing a smile despite the pain

"Sir Modred... I'm sorry if I startled you..." muttered Gawain as the cursed soreness crept further, blistering skin and tearing into the flesh, causing Gawain to hiss and wince at the disgust and pain whenever it spread a little higher, the wounds opening up, infected and oozing over the bed linen, slowly but surely extending up his arms.

Sir Prodius watched quietly as Crow recovered a little and came closer to the man briefly

"Rest assured you're safe from harm... knight of Camelot" assured Sir Prodius of Orkney

"Mercians are the scourge of our kingdoms indeed" muttered on his way out, no longer seeing a threat in Crow and so sending everyone else so that the wounded man could talk to the queen in peace and deliver the information safely, all too weary about spies
Mordred (played by Guingamor)

Taff mentally slapped himself for forgetting such a thing. "Oh, of course," he said, now more anxious than ever. "You're right, if we find her before I tell Lancelot, all the better."

Lost in thought for a moment, he shook himself back into the here and now. "Thank you for going to the effort, Amber," he said, with a hopeful smile. "I'm sure with your skills we'll find Guinevere in no time."

Mordred's eyes widened slightly at Sir Gawain's state. That's surely something magical. What could Sir Gawain have been doing to end up like this?

"You... hm. When did this start up?" he asked, eyes narrowing. It looked like Gawain was scalded horribly, but that shouldn't be spreading, especially not in this way. And yet, it was.
Merthyr wasted no time at all, going to the markets and buying whatever common warm clothing he could find in this sudden change of weather. He was pressed for time, eager and keen to get to Mercia as promptly as possible to find out about his father's fate and Sir Percival's. He took no escort and he took no weapons with him, for he was not yet knighted, but he did pocket Sir Mordred's parchment as if dear life depended on this permission to travel.

It was a well known fact that servants, slaves, peasants and squires were expected to stay put and were not allowed to travel without specific written permission from their liege and Merthyr counted his blessings that his liege lord, Mordred, had indeed consented to the journey.

Merthyr decided to pick up a wooden staff for support and protection instead, a water skin strapped around him thought likely it would soon become frozen in the hostile blizzard and ventured out, from time to time stopped by the guards across the gates of the various levels, each time showing the permission to travel, carefully displaying it and quickly pocketting it away safely.

Gawain looked concerned as it crept a little higher still. "It was in the morning..." admitted Gawain.

"There was this strange goblet in Merthyr's chambers, it was bubbling a golden liquid and spilling overflowing too, so I took it to my mother, just across the room. No sooner I held the cup, my hands started to burn and blister. I didn't think nothing of it at the time, I put my globes and ventured out this noon to scout the area with you, as you well recall, but my hands were numb, painful and bleeding. I could not handle neither weapon nor reins, it has been spreading since I first touched that goblet" admitted Gawain concerned.

"Where's Merthyr?" quizzed Gawain noticing the youth's absence
Mordred (played by Guingamor)

Mordred couldn't help frowning at this. It was the cup of retribution, surely, that he'd tampered with. It was meant to be Merthyr's punishment, and his means of redemption. Gawain was now paying the price for tampering with it, clearly. Of course, he could just tell Gawain all of this. But why would he?

"It seems you've tampered with some manner of powerful magic," said Mordred, in a quiet yet objective tone. "Perhaps you've been cursed as a result of this? If it is a curse, perhaps you might find some way to redeem yourself." He spoke as if he was merely theorizing, and made no mention of Merthyr's true predicament with the cup.

Mordred slightly raised an eyebrow, and replied, "Merthyr is gone. I assume he's left to find news of his father or of Sir Percival, but I have more pressing matters to attend to presently."
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She smiled. "Let's hope it finds her quickly." She poured a drop on the flower and it began to glow dimly. "Here, find her." She smiled, handing Taff the flower. "I will stay by your side."
Andrew Drake (played by fabulo)

Andrew got out of bed feeling much better, he had practically all his mana back and had the strength to fight. He grabbed a dagger and got to his feet, he looked around then he snuck out of his bed and slipped out the door as quickly and quietly as possible. He walked through the castle and looked around for any people, his dagger up in a defensive stance. He walked toward the kitchen hoping to find a back entrance and some food. A cook stood in the kitchen by the stove, he grabbed the cook put the dagger to her neck and had her fill up a bag with food then lead him to the back entrance.
"Uhmmm... those Mercian raiders could still be out there and bring Merthyr into harm, better have a knight or other go out to find him and bring him back. Send Prodius, he is quite ruthless and effective with the northen brigands" suggested Gawain

"As for yourself... sir Mordred... I indeed require your assistance. I need you to find me a sorcerer, one powerful enough to stop this before it crawls up my throat, I know not how to stop this and mother seems occupied at present" winced Gawain in too much pain to focus on Merthyr's danger.

"I ended up dropping the cup because of the burnt hands, it spilled its content entirely and still more liquid kept pouring out, from nowhere" recalled Gawain clueless as to the cup itself or its purpose but seeking help "This is sorcery at its worse... without a shadow of a doubt, watching his fingers blacken and leave him unable to wriggle them at all thus rendering his hands useless." worry creeping into Gawain's voice and face

"Get help, quickly, I care not who or from where, but be fast, this is spreading quicker every time" muttered Gawain now growing alarmed

Lancelot was bringing logs to the kitchens when he stumbled upon the armed stranger, dropping the wood and raising his hands in peace.

"Look... she's frightened enough already, please, let her go... unharmed... if you need a hostage, just take me alright? If you comply, I will not raise any alarm" bartered Lancelot
The Hanged Man (played anonymously)

Crow, still bedridden, bowed his head to the departing Prodius. Since Morgause had left earlier to find Morgana, the knight was now alone in her chambers. Even amidst the chaos it might cause a scandal, so he got up, grabbed the handkerchief out of his armor, and left for the infirmary.

Once there he saw Mordred and Gawain. He bowed deeply to them and only straightened up when given permission. Gawain's injured arms were not lost on the knight. The sight of them made him flash back to when his own scars were fresh: hundreds of crows screaming in the dark, their beaks and talons rending his skin, the life pouring out of him as he laid upon the ground ...

Mordred and Gawain would not know this--they would only see that Crow was motionless, a glassy look in his eyes, staring at Gawain's arms.
Merthyr paused growing more restless, annoyed and impatient at yet another stop and search.
Now it seemed to him that security was indeed ridiculously excessive, too many guards and patrols at too many levels in the city but he patiently allowed the armed men to bring him aside to their cabin, yet again to go through his travel bag and question him yet again as to the purpose of his travelling, alongside examining the written permit

"Honestly if I have to undress, empty my bag and be asked the same questions any more times I will end up insane" protested Merthyr clearly unhappy at the hampering delays he was encountering.

"Is this really the aggravation all servants have to go through each day? Have you no better to work to do?" complained Merthyr

"Well, well, well, what do we have here, a troublemaking servant or squire seeking to cause public disorder, refuse given orders or trying to evade law and order, uh?" quizzed the captain of this particular watch post

"Come now Martin, you've known me long enough to know I do not forge parchments nor am I of dubious character" winced Merthyr embarrassed as the suspicious accusation

"Disrespect and all!" added Martin tut tutting Merthyr with a wide smirk

"You're under arrest" assured the captain, happy to show off his authority and dutifulness. Merthyr rolled his eyes and tried to back away to break into a run, snatching his bag and earning himself a short chase and arrest, getting handcuffed and looking on helplessly as the captain seized the prized parchment, almost tearing it with his carelessness.

Merthyr gawked at that but kept quiet least the man burnt the document out of spite. He ducked the head mortified, being dragged back to Mordred's presence for the knight to ascertain the authenticity of the document and vouch for the wandering servant.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming, just go easy on the cuffs... if you can... please" pleaded Merthyr softly being quickly and effortlessly walked past all the patrols and levels and dragged back to the palace to start his journey all over again, rendering his efforts and patience this far a complete waste of time.

As soon as Mordred confirmed his permission to travel he would have to undergo all the patience testing checks and stopped all over again, the thought of it making him tense already.

Gawain smiled at Crow

"Good day sir knight, glad to see you alive and better..." complimented Gawain, gritting his teeth in pain but keeping a smile briefly "Please, arise, we're all wounded men here" assured Gawain not about to keep the man kneeling needlessly
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

Morgause had never left her chambers but it appears sir crow found himself under the impression that she did. She silently watched her patient stand and leave with no regard to her in the slightest. Though she supposed she didn't care at that moment as she took in the bloody cloth resting in her hand.

On the other side of the castle knocking upon the door of Morgana say Gareth, whom was the youngest son(known of) to Morgause. Unlike his three elder brothers he did not hold himself in high esteem, in truth he never sought power(not intentionally.) though he was a knight of sorts.

He had heard the woeful cries of his mother earlier in the evening as she lamented the death of her maid. Whom for many years had been more of a sibling to him than any of his brothers could,
For though he was a knight, he was no fighter and sought violence as a last resort. Unlike them, he was painfully shy and did not enjoy spending time with his brothers, more over he had spent more time in the library with his mother and Guinevere back in Orkney at a young age. These he was quick witted and the smartest of his brothers, though he was of close age to Merthyr and Morgana. He could sadly not grow any measurement of facial hair, and looked rather young for his age with his strangely alluring auburn hair and piercing crystal blue eyes.

He, upon hearing this woefully news of tragedy ran to tell the inhabitants of the castle. Most of which he found fairly shocked by this. Now he stood beyond the door of the lady Morgana.
"Come in, come in..." insisted Morgana looking at the youth that stood by her door.

She examined the young man in detail, noticing his coat of arms upon his chest.

"Ah... sir... perhaps you are confused? Lady Morgause chambers are across the hallway" explained Morgana thinking this Orkney knight was looking for his queen.

He was handsome if somewhat young and it was clear to her that the youth was the bearer of grim news, news she rather were delivered directly to the queen herself
Mordred (played by Guingamor)

Noticing the knight as well, Mordred gave him a slight, polite smile.

"It's good you're doing better," said Mordred, "I'm sure the Queen would like to hear your account as soon as possible." Then giving a cursory glance to where the man Merthyr had found in the snow should be, he found that he was.. gone.

Mordred glanced around the room searching for him, before becoming distracted by the knight's strange expression. Motionless, almost frozen in place, eyes pointed in the direction of Gawain's arms yet seemingly looking past everything. Mordred's eyes flicked between the two of them, confused. Quickly, he regained his focused.

"Ah, excuse me," he said, beginning to exit the room. "It seems the man we found at the ambush is up and about as well." He gave a quick glance towards Gawain as he felt, trying to indicate that he'd see what he could do.

Quickly he made his way down the hall, beginning to search for the man Merthyr had found in the snow.

Taff smiled at Amber in response, gently taking the flower. Looking into it, he began moving around, trying to discern the brightness of the glow. He started moving down the hall, guessing mostly, as it seemed the lily's glow was staying more or less the same wherever he moved.

Guinevere must be somewhere far away, he thought, a worried expression crossing onto his face.
Gawain smiled in a grimaced expression looking at Mordred

"You focus on the missing man, he may be a threat, a Mercian mercenary or spy, I will send this knight here to get my mother" explained Gawain looking at Crow

"Sir knight, go get the queen, inform her sir Gawain is cursed and worsening, she is needed here and quickly, this disease is spreading much too fast" winced Gawain sending the surviving knight to the task

"Go now, hurry" urged Gawain watching the wrists turn black and the blisters spread past the elbows by now

"Come on, just find Sir Mordred and have this matter resolved, time is of essence" insisted Merthyr keeping the slow pace that now became slower out of spite
Amber (played by Mathgeek124)

She stayed beside Taff, looking forward to make sure they didn't run into anyone. She frowned as the flower dimmed and gave a small smile each time it glowed brighter.
Morgause (played by Raider-jack29)

Morgause was presently on her way to the infirmary, she had a lot on her mind at the moment. Her steps were slow and unsteady, her eyes stung from dried tears, and her face red from crying. So much had happened in one day, and she knew the signs all too well. For there must always come a day for kingdoms to fall into chaos so others may rise, but it all felt so soon.
So she made her way silently down the halls to the infirmary.
"The queen already knows your grace, for now she weeps in her chambers. It appears as if lady Guinevere in her absence, has died. Wether killed by man or beast we know not, we do however know it was murder."
