She jumped on the horse and began riding towards the gates. "I shall prove she isn't gone." She growled under her breath
Morgana smiled sadly at Taff and nodded
"Yes, Taff, best sir Lancelot hears the news from your own lips" accepted Morgana
"Inform sir Prodius as well because all Guinevere and Lancelot's belongings are now his" sighed Morgana having given up on finding her alive
Merthyr frowned opening his mouth to protest but closed it again, swallowing his annoyance and pride.
"Fine.... you win this time captain Martin" sighed Merthyr seeing Mordred uninterested
"You do know there's a blizzard going on and one can only stand in the cold for so long?" Quizzed Merthyr as his words fell on deaf ears, the guards locking him in the stock regardless of the weather
"Don't do the crime, if you don't want to do the time" muttered Martin with a triumphant smirk of victory
The guards so focused on the wandering prince they disregarded Amber, who escaped unnoticed

She turned to look at the only place she ever knew as home and sighed. "Goodbye for now." She smiled and picked up speed following the glow of the flower.
Taff nodded, and began making his way down the hall, looking for Lancelot and Sir Prodius.
Mordred hadn't moved far into the forest when he found the dead bear, and finally, tracks in the snow. It seems the man had gotten careless in his haste.
On the other hand, though, it was very dark. He knew he'd likely have to spend the night on this, and that he hadn't expected to, and therefore hadn't arranged to camp in the snow, complicated matters somewhat. Nonetheless, he followed the tracks.
They lead into a wood cabin, which upon entering, Mordred found empty. The ashes in the fireplace were still warm, which meant he mustn't be as far behind as he'd thought. Tired as he was, he left the cabin and began search again, if against his better judgement.

Andrew was in the gold room which was still warm and lit up due to the torches on the walls that the dragon had lit, and also the heat still coming from the dragon as it slowly evaporated. Andrew was exhausted and was slowly falling asleep. The storm had only grown worse outside to the point that it was now impossible to see anything outside however light stuck out and you could sort of see the dragons cave if you managed to get close enough.
The storm had gotten much, much worse after Mordred had left the cabin, and it wasn't long before he realized he'd likely freeze if he didn't find shelter soon. He was too far from the cabin at this point, and he could barely see anything.
Figuring that at least, someone would be unlikely to see him as well, he murmured a spell to keep himself warm. It fluttered over him, warmth finally reaching back into his face, the unpleasant coldness receding temporarily. It wouldn't last long, but it might at least buy him time to find shelter.. if any existed.
He continued for what seemed like hours, internally cursing his foolishness and stupidity. Finally, he could see a faint light in the distance, coming from a cave perhaps. Since the man had left the cabin, Mordred figured that the cave would be where he was now. But then, if it came to a fight, he realized given his fatigue and the blizzard, he might not fair well; he was certainly never the best of the knights in terms of combat. Especially if the man had been resting all this time.
He trudged on, entering the cave anyway.

Andrew had fallen asleep and was still sleeping when Mordred walked into the cave entrance, however as Mordred walked through the cave his footsteps echoed, the loud echoing footsteps woke Andrew. He practically leapt off his little place where he had been resting. "Whoever is in here are you a friend or a foe?!" He called this out loudly and got ready to attack just in case.
"I'm Sir Mordred," Mordred called back, a little surprised. "I am looking for a man that was found in the snow and taken to Camelot. Are you him?"
He carefully rested a hand on the hilt of his sword, but didn't move any further. It needn't come to a fight, after all.

As this all had gone on, it could be seen that lady Morgause was not in the best of moods. Etched on to her face was a scowl so fierce that full grown knights coward away as she passed. She was making her way back to the throne room in quite a huff, as many things seemed to be on her mind at present. This whole time she had tried playing nice, but the moment Guinevere disappeared nice went out the window. As she approached the doors of the throne room she didn't even bother to open them as her eyes briefly flashed a striking gold. The doors themselves flung open and slammed hard against the wall.
Andrew starts to get nervous he thinks about lying, however what would he even say. "I amthat man however I will not be returning with you! You will not have my head, I still have much to do! Why should I be persecuted just because I am a mage?!" He hides himself away, it would be harder for him to take on a trained knight with only his hunting skills and daggers.
Mordred couldn't help a small smile crossing his face. "The ban on magic was lifted just recently by Queen Morgause," he informed the man, "As for you, I don't intend to bring you back to the castle unless you prove to be my enemy. Might I know your name?"
He still waited at the entrance to the cave, although his spell was starting to wear off.

"My name... first tell me why I should trust you, you could easily be lying. I refuse to go back to somewhere I'm treated poorly for something I cannot change!" Andrew stays hidden but decides not to attack right away if the man enters, he has a feeling that he is telling the truth he just wants to make sure. "You may come further into the cave if you wish I shall not attack."
Mordred frowns at this, but enters further into the cave, away from the blizzard outside. He takes his hand away from the hilt of his sword, reading that the man wants a fight about as much as he does. Pausing, thinking the question over, eventually he comes to a decision.
"Why you should trust me? Because I know magic, too." Mordred, merely to prove his point, begins to murmur another spell, one that casts away shadows and reveals. It spreads slowly over the cave, and eventually deeper into it, casting light as if it were a bright day. "I follow Nimueh, a priestess of the old religion, and I am a follower of the old ways of magic. I never believed in the ban."
He pauses again, waiting to gauge the man's reaction. If he reacted poorly, he supposed the man wouldn't pose as much trouble as he'd previously thought. And, if he reacted well, perhaps he could be an ally, he thought.

After a while, Amber was caught in the blizzard. She needed assistance badly. She was near a cave, but she was so cold she couldn't hear the voices. She tried to get off the horse, but ended up falling and curling up against herself. "I'm so sorry." She whispered to no one. This is the end, she thought.
Merthyr was feeling the cold already after just a couple of hours at most locked up and still, he winced at the snow that showed no signs of stopping, in fact was worsening, gazing at the entrance for signs of Mordred to beg his forgiveness to no avail. If he was supposed to learn a lesson in obedience he certainly was ready to do practically anything
"Cheer up, lad, it will be over sooner or later" smiled Lancelot covering the prisoner with a thick cloak and offering Merthyr a hot drink, helping him drink it since he had no use of hands or arms. Lancelot sat down by Merthyr disregarding the foul weather and polishing armour as they talked.
"I tire of Prodius, he bothers anyone else again and I swear I will wrestle the sword off his hand and give him a good lesson in manners as well as swordsmanship. I am sorry if obedience will be lacking" muttered Lancelot unhappy with his liege lord's inappropriate behaviour.
He noticed Merthyr wrists bruised and wounded by excessive tightening of the shackles earlier and went to the infirmary horrified to see Gawain all the worse.
In a panic he rushed to inform the queen, knocking the door to the throne room and entering, dropping a knee before the queen awaiting permission to speak

Morgause tried her hardest to keep a hard look as Lancelot entered the throne room. Sadly she couldn't help the look of empathy she gathered as he kneeled before her to speak.
"Sir Lancelot, who
Must you come to me with more troubling news when I have already received the worst of it?"
She spoke in a surprisingly bitter tone.

"Worry not about king Conrad, we shall get him back soon, there's no proof he is dead and my liege has just signed papers to allow me to travel, I will bring your brother and sir Tristan back" soothed Lancelot clearly oblivious about Guinevere's absence.

Andrew witnessed the other man cast magic and he thought for a moment, deciding whether it was best to come out or to stay hidden, it wasn't that he didn't trust him, now it was more of a what is his game. "I'm called Andrew, a weather mage, I was wondering what you needed from me." As he spoke he walked out from behind a large pile of gold. "Is there a service you eish for me to preform or is there some type of information you wish me to give?"
A slight smirk crossed Mordred's face. "Andrew," he said, "firstly, you were find in the snow near the site of an ambush. Any details of what happened there would be of great interest."
Just then, he could hear the sound of something hitting the snow, even through the blizzard. Glancing back to the outside of the cave, he could see a horse.. and someone on the ground. His brow furrowed, knowing they wouldn't last long in the blizzard.
Turning back to Andrew, he said, "don't speak of what I've told you here. But, I think we could be allies, of a sort." Then nodding towards the entrance, he added, "there's someone out there."
He made his way back out of the cave, finding someone in the snow, next to her horse. Carefully, he lifted her back onto it, and, grabbing the reins, lead it into the cave.
Taff, on his search for Lancelot, very nearly ran into a serving girl. Quickly he had tried to move to the side as she made her way through, but ended up tripping in his haste.
"Taff! Are you looking for Merthyr? He's in the stocks, last I heard," she said, a little surprised to see him.
"Merthyr? What's he doing in the stocks?" asked Taff, realizing that with the blizzard as it was Merthyr would be freezing. Forgetting about Lancelot briefly, Taff immediately grabbed a blanket, for what little good it could do, and made his way to the stocks.
"What have you done now?" he asked when he arrived to see Merthyr, quickly putting the blanket over him.

Morgause sighed as she noded
"Before you go there is something I must speak with you about."
She started, her breath slowing as her gaze lowered, her eyes holding a scary mixture of pity and rage as she gripped the throne hard enough to turn her knuckles white.
" this morning I awoke to find that a peice of bloodied cloth had been brought to me through my window by the morning breeze. It was the exact same cloth that your dear sister wore the night of the feast."
