GEO couldn't feel anything. He couldn't think anything. He would have liked to say it was a strange feeling, but it wasn't a feeling at all. There was only the sweet sound of silence, a rare thing in the world today.
For a moment, there was peace, however that did not last long. The monitor was still black, however the text reading "System Lock: Override. Function Check: Online" plastered itself across the screen. Some numbers and other system checks performed themselves, until a unique sentence appeared, reading, "Alarm: Offline. Scanner: Offline. Factory Default Mode Activated". Suddenly, GEO's arrow-for-eye lighted up a bright, neon green color.
GEO didn't react initially. He knew where he was, and he knew that he was restrained to a table, however he didn't try to break free or attack anyone around him. He moved his head around, scanning everyone in the room, not seeing them as a threat or an ally. Everyone around the room looked somewhat nervously at the robot. GEO continued to observe his surrounding until he finally piped up.
The clicking was no more, it was English. GEO spoke in a very monotone and synthetic sounding voice. "Factory Default Mode has been selected. In order to assume control of this model, you will ne--zzz". GEO began to spin out of control. His body began to shake and his voice turned into a sparking, straight sound that was closest to a computer freezing and stuttering.
Initially, a feeling of uncertainty and almost threat was flooding the room, however after about five seconds of the rather annoying noise, it stopped. GEO was still, and stopped making the horrific noise. A nice calm was sentimentally shared throughout the room. GEO piped up again, however this time it was different. The voice was the same, however the audio was different. "Who is to assume command of this model?"
