I look into the house "amber why is it so dark in here" I say still smiling

"Um, well, we're in the middle of the apocalypse and this house is completely abbandoned. I don't think they had time to pay their light bill." She smirked, putting a jar up. "Either of y'all got a flashlight?" She turned towards them.

"yep" i say and toss it to her "are you always this sarcastic or only in the Apocalypse" I say smirking

"Always." She turned back around, turning the flashlight onto the jars. "Woah these are potion ingredients." She whispered.

"so uh you and jonah huh? I say looking at her

"What about us?" She picked up a few jars, looking at the contents and putting them in her bag after examining them.

"so you guys are together"

"Yeah. I still fail to see why you care." She smirked, putting another jar in her bag.

" I don't. just wondering" I say not looking at her

"Sure you were." She finished putting the rest in her bag and looked around for more stuff. Those were things she needed for spells, so surely there was more.

"i was, it's not like I have a crush on you or anything" she says talking fast and looking down "what are those jars"

"Potion ingredients. I'm looking for something else that might help me." She continued to rummage through cabinets.

"can I help?" she says sniffing the air "what exactly are you looking for?" I ask still sniffing the air

"Anything..." She trailed off, turning to face her. "Witchy." She smirked an turned back to the cupboards.

I cough "okay then" I move to a bookshelf and find jars like the others "amber what about these over here, they smell funny"

'Disgusting' was the only word in his head while staring at the Zed, still eating it's guts on the ground. "I think it's time for you to die already..." He said, holding his knife and walking towards it slowly.

When he got close enough, he drove the knife into it's head and slightly turned it then ripped it out. The Zed groaned quietly and fell on it's side, dead. "Never thought I'd end up in a world like this..."

She shined the light on them. "If it's not edible for a human, put it in the bag." She smirked, tossing her the backpack.

"woah cool" she said placing different jars in the backpack "so who asked who out with you and jonah" I say handing her the backpack

She took it. "It was kinda both, it's really hard to explain, I guess we just both decided to date at the same time." She shrugged.
