“I understand. You could skip to another good memory if you wish.” She smiled and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Y-Yeah, that would be good..." he mutters.
“Close your eyes and pick another memory.” She took his hand in hers and closed her eyes.
Once they opened their eyes, they were in the same setting. This time though, there was 2 people on the hill.
“Where are we now?” She looked around confused. “Jonah?” She looked back up at him.
"Don't you remember this one...?" he muttered, staring at the two on the hill. It was quite hard to see from here but the two figures where Amber and Jonah.
“I do now.” She smiled. “This is a good memory.”
"Yeah..." he sighed, gazing up at the figures on the hill. He turned to Amber and smiled lovingly at her. "But let's not dwell on the past..."
“Sometimes it can be good, sometimes it makes you hate the world more. That’s what my mother always said.” She chuckled. “Let’s get back.” She held her hand out to him.
He held it. "Something like that..." He muttered.
She closed her eyes and sent them back home. “Here we are.”
