I must admit I am guilty of going quiet with rps. Recently due to the fact the other person(s) rp the story as if I am not even there. I give it a go for a while, try and 'join' in but after a while I just give up.
Reading this though has made me see things differently about going quiet and it is not the best way to deal with a rp partner. I just hate saying though, pretty much for the nagging reason. Easier to just walk away.

I typically give folks a week+ before I start nudging. Especially around this time of the year with holidays/going back to school after break/work in general. I do my best to give folks warning if I'm not going to be able to reply in a bit, or if I'm not feeling it anymore. Though it's always hard saying I'm not into an RP anymore because I feel like I'm letting the other person down >_<
