Now they stood face to face. She was captured, he was free. He lifted another chain over his head, ready for a killing blow.

“Hector please...” Ari pleads, tears falling from her eyes. “This isn’t you...”

Celes chuckled. She opened her eyes to see Anthony.”I’m dizzy, have a headache, and fainting knocks me out. Literally.” She said. Her eyes looked tired which was a bit odd but nothing to worry about.

The demons gas were about to were off, selfcontrol is being gained. Hector had returned, though the horror he saw in Ari's face, reminded him of Esma, the day He ran away. The chain were lowered. Hector looked her in the eyes. He began to vaporize into gas.

Ari returned his gaze, her breath heavy, watching him slowly disappear. Tears continued to slip down her cheek, landing on the grass.

Jarred walked slowly over to Hector, both turning gas. Half of Hector had vaporized.

Matt

I looked up at her. "Are you hurt?" I had wanted to practice using my healing magic. "Did you hit your head or anything?"

Anthony

I looked over at Matt, then at Celes. "I think she's fine." I looked her up and down. "She probably only needs some rest."

Celes nodded.”Yeah I might need rest but I think I’ll be fine.” She said taking Anthony’s hand in hers.

He stood up and walked to the guy asking if the girl was ok.”Excuse me but do you have healing magic?” He asked him. He was going to ask if he could try to heal Riba.

“Hector please don’t leave me..” Ari says, starting to become desperate.

Matt

I nodded. "To a certain degree, yes. Why?"

Anthony

I took her hand back. "Sorry this happened to you..."

He looked at Riba then back to the boy.”See that person over there. That’s the principal. Could you try to heal her?”

Celes smiled.”That’s ok. It wasn’t your fault at all.” She said.

Matt

"What seems to be the problem?" I said walking over to her & examining her. "Oh..I see." I said, grimacing. Some of her face was missing. I thought for a second. I stood over her and moved my hands rhythmically over the wound. It was slow, and the buildup was long, but I had only known this way. The gap had started to heal, with skin reappearing in peppered spots. After a while of this, I took a deep breath. My face was red and sweat was forming on my forehead. It was a daunting task, but I couldn't give up now.

He took in a breath hoping and praying that she would come back to life.

Matt

I focused my thoughts to be entirely on her health. My hands shook and veins bulged. I was becoming exhausted, but quitting now had meant she might never wake up. I had dove deep into my mind, trying to mend everything I found wrong. It was ironic, really. My curse had blessed me with giving life to others, in turn losing it myself. "Please..." I had uttered. The struggle had been happening for fifteen minutes straight now. I don't know if I could last much longer.

Hoggens prayed to the heavens to save his best friend.

Corrine

Corrine has branched off from the group, leaving Matt with Anthony to go visit Celes. She walked outside, looking up at the sky. It was normal now, as if nothing had ever happened. She walked down to the garden, finding the bench she had sat on her first day here.

Althea

Althea had wandered off to be alone, trying to think of what had happened today. It happened so quickly, and now Riba was ill.

Anthony

I looked up from Celes and focused on Matt. He was struggling, fighting a battle he may or may not win. I sighed and could only hope. I looked back at Celes. "Well, it's been one weird day I suppose. It's always nice to mix it up now and then." I looked over again, I didn't like to see that kind of struggle. "Would you like some water?" I finally asked her.

Celes nodded.”With ice in it please.” She said smiling. She also looked over. She couldn’t sit up to look but saw Matt struggling. She didn’t want to bother him while he was trying to save a life.
