It's been two years since the the children of the royal family in New Ravenloft set of one their journey to collect the nine gems that would grant Elijah his right to ascend to the throne and officially call himself the king of his great nation. This journey has thrown the siblings through a number of tough trials, but they've managed to work their way through every one of them so far, and each time they've come out stronger. They thought they could handle anything the gods threw at them, but they were wrong... so very wrong. On a simple trip out to the Ruins of Maywick Keep, a ferocious storm tore through the nation, eventually hitting the boat the siblings had been riding on. Waves pounded on the ship, thunder cracked, lightning flashed, it seemed like a horrible nightmare, none that any of the siblings had anticipated. After what seemed like an eternity on the storm, everyone aboard passed out for reasons unknown... though, this was only the beginning of the pain they would go through. A massive bolt of lightning struck the ship, tearing it apart into a number of tiny pieces. Elijah and Eliza were lucky enough to wash up together on the banks of the Dusk River, unfortunately Grace was not as lucky as her siblings. She was carried off to a place that seemed to be leagues away from her siblings, she washed up on the shorelines of Ilandy.
This meant trouble, Krita was a terrifying nation, especially for women. The lonesome girl, one that is not built for combat now travels among the dark nation, hoping to find her way back to her siblings. Asking for help was more or less a potential death sentence, as these people could just as easily force her into slavery without fear of repercussion. Her siblings could've died back in that storm, leaving her alone in the nation she once called home. There was no way of knowing where her siblings ended up and there was too much of a gamble asking for help. Terrified and lonely, Grace hid in one of the town's many alleyways, sobbing out of fear. A number of men looked towards the sobbing girl with much disgust, no one offering so much as even a hint as to where her siblings might be. Several had even threatened to take her as their toy if she continued bothering them. She had been through a number of tough trials, but each one was with her brother and sister... she wasn't ready to deal with something like this on her own. Will anyone help this poor girl? Or will they continue to throw her to the wayside like garbage?
I'm simply looking for 1-3 people to join Grace on a journey to find her siblings. As expected, it'll be jam packed with plenty of adventure, angst, and a number of dark themes while taking place in a medieval fantasy setting. Combat is definitely going to happen, but it won't dominate the plot and will generally just be summarized. The Nation of Krita is known for rampant sexism, racism, and abuse, so take this into consideration before joining. I'm not looking for any romance to blossom with Grace due to her age, so don't even try; though, if we end up making to Elijah, I will allow romance (MxF) with him. Be wary if your character is a male, she will likely be more hesitant to travel with them, so don't be upset if she doesn't go with them right away. If they end up reuniting, we could always just end it there or we could use this plot to continue the RP. I'd like at least one paragraph a post, I don't need novels, just something to work with. Shoot me a PM if you'd like to try this!

Magic may be accepted as truth but is not common. It might be harnessed only by specific beings. Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones.
