Lele Vega (played anonymously)

Damn, I’m late. Been pretty busy ^^; Too late to join?))
Elle couldn't help but laugh gently when Juliet introduced herself, shaking her head when her glasses almost fell off. She smiled gently and put a hand on her arm. "Hey, just relax. You seem way too nervous for this," she advised, the whole formal tone of voice gone, replaced by a much kinder and casual tone. She smiled sheepishly at the girl, rolling her eyes and gently laughing again.

She tilted her head when Juliet had stopped mid-sentence, unawares of the cause. It quickly caught up with her when she too jumped from a strange voice, making her hand twitch to her thigh area where a hidden knife was being stored. Thankfully, it was just another guest, so Elle swiveled on her heel, bowing her head kindly before curtsying to the stranger. "G'devening, sir. Please do, it would be our pleasure," she exclaimed, her formal tone magically reappeared. She gave Juliet a vague wink before a gentle and quiet laugh, turning her attention back to the stranger. "I am Lovelle September and this is Juliet Witts. Who might you be, stranger?"
Lucius Mirikuo (played by PaperCatRPR)

"Lucius Mirikuo" Lucius replied. "Pleasure to meet your acquaintance."

These formal words had never been used from him before, and it almost scared him. Were the people at CORE programming him to say this? ...probably not since he's only a cyborg... but the girls didn't have to know that.

Juliet shot a quick glance at Lovelle, and gave a quick, covert nod, trying to still herself.

"Hey, tho, uh... Hey, where do you work?"

Juliet gulped, still sticking to her awkward conversation starter.

She offered him a tight smile before shaking her head fondly, sipping at her champagne. "You may call me Tsuki. It's a shame you don't drink, Aeon, or else you could have gotten them off your backs." She made sure to keep her tone gentle in order not to scare off the male.

Pausing mid-sip, she lazily waved her hand to the side and gestured to a group of men standing near the refreshment table. They all had champagne in their hands and all of their eyes were focused on him. The stares were neither curious or polite. "Those elites have been eyeing me the whole time I've been talking to you. It looks like they don't seem too fond of a lady like me meeting up with a fine gentlemen like yourself, although I might have been mistaken with their body language.. Either way, be very careful." She gave them a calculating stare in return and the group of men widened their eyes, scattering the scene as quickly as possible.
Aeon shrugged at the comment regarding the other gentlemen. "I am aware of their stares, it would not be the first time I'll tell you that much, I'll be careful alright. Although my reasons for not drinking are my own, you needn't worry about it." He gave a second glance at Tsuki, then around at the others, noticing several groups of people and others who seemed to dwindle their time at the gala alone.

He then returned his gaze to Tsuki after he was satisfied with getting a proper look at the place. "So, would you mind telling me about yourself Tsuki? I'm curious as to what types of people were invited as I was perplexed, to say the least, when I received my own invitation."

Replying to Juliet's question, Lucius explained "W-Well, my job isn't easy to explain... but I guess I could say that I'm like a 'secret agent' or something..."

Of course he didn't explain the extra details behind it. No one had to know that he traveled through universes. No one had to know that he was a cyborg. No one had to know that he now was working for a top secret society that fights indescribable creatures on a daily basis to keep humanity safe. He kept all of that a secret.

Juliet's eyes widened, before she pushed up her glasses. "Huh, I'm jutht a hithtory teacher... Heh, I feel like I'm the only perthon here without a fanthy job." She smiled.

She gave him the same calculating look she gave the elite's, though this time it was much colder than the one before. There were a lot of things at the tip of her tongue she wanted to express, but she held herself back. This wasn't the first time she had been tricked to reveal information and she wasn't about to give this Aeon the satisfaction of taking that part away from her, either. She held the stare with a keen eye, hoping that he would give up soon. She wasn't going to let him win.

"I'm just a downtown costume shop owner who likes to make elf accessories for cosplay..." She trailed off, hoping he would buy the excuse she gave. It wasn't as if she was lying as she did own a costume shop downtown that sold some of her handmade accessories, but her job was mainly to be a detective. The fancier name for her job was simply a 'weapon specialist'.

(( I think so.
(I compiled some of my characters into one character sheet. Juliet is still in the game.)

Gotcha! That gave me a fright!! XD Sorry for misunderstanding ^^"))

Would have been funny if Juliet died before the murdering even started.

She... She dies a lot.

"Lucius," the hacker seemed to repeat quietly, her attention quickly thrown into a void of thoughts. Something about this person made an alarm in her head go off. She seemed to recognise that name, but she couldn't put a finger on it. Something about her hacking...
But, it didn't matter then, so she quickly shook away the stubborn thought, although the alarm was still going off in her mind. She decided to keep information brief, just in case.

Her attention was brought back to the male, who's identity was still ticking off the hacker, as he revealed his career. He seemed quite nervous and very vague around the subject, and that made the alarm scream even louder in her head. Dont trust him, don't trust him... But, she wasn't going to reveal her thoughts or intentions of finding out who this oerson was at all, so she played along.

"Ah, interesting. Well, Juliet, to be completely fair, I only have a part time job as a waitress, so I'm sure I take the prize for most dull job here," the hacker said, her lie seeming so simple that it was buy able, well, that was what she hoped, anyway. "I'm going to go an get a drink, either of you care for some champagne or something of the sorts?"
"Oh! Uh, if you could get me thome wine?" Juliet brushed the hair from her face. A part of her gave off the idea that she drank often. Not an alcoholic, but more than a teacher probably should.
Lucius Mirikuo (played by PaperCatRPR)

"I'll have to pass for now. But thank you for the offer!" He responded. He wasn't a fan of drinking alcohol or wine, so he was used to being the only one without a drink.

His one problem was that he could hear Lovelle say his name over and over under her breath... and it just creeped him out. He didn't show it though.
"Ah, a costume shop. That is rather remarkable. I cannot say my line of work is consistent in putting food on the table, but it is rather rewarding. I'm a smith you see. Own a forge some reasonable distance from here. I make weapons, jewelry, trinkets and so much more. I'm not very popular however, so you could assume my surprise in receiving an invite to this gala, but perhaps I believe that I have sold marvelous things at low costs to this family, so there may be a correlation." He ruffled his hair, it was already messy enough as it had always been near impossible to tame, so it was just an act of thinking.

Aeon gave off a child-like vibe from his manner of speaking. And it was truthful to assume he was young, as he was merely 15 years of age standing at a measly 5'1". Despite his short form he was strong from his line of work, which had paid the bills and kept food on the table for him. Along with his childish demeanor he also gave off a sense of honesty. He was never one for lies as he knew they could lead to trouble. And it wasn't like he didn't lie, he just didn't always say the truth if he wasn't asked for him to reveal anything, which made him give a neutral expression and calm tone while there at the party.

Tsuki smoothed down the side of her dress as Aeon spoke, keeping her eyes on the man. He looked quite young, probably no older than she was. His eyes glassed over as he hurriedly explained his 'work of art' to her, a surprisingly mature look overshadowing his face as he took reign of the conversation. She chose to focus her gaze on a spot on the wall behind him, though at times her eyes would wander over to stop at his lips and eyes, slowly glazing and drowning his words into seemingly unimportant drunken slur.

Perhaps it was the champagne, she mused as she bit down on her lip, blood welling from the cut. She licked cute slowly, trying not to wince at the nip of pain. Either way, I shouldn't be losing to some hollow liquor.

She grounded herself, smiling a little as a waiter came over to pick up her champagne glass. She had to laugh when he ran hand through his hair once again, finding the nervous motion cute. It was rare that she'd see someone that was nervous because of the situation, not just because of her stance in a case or her reputation of being a ruthless weapon specialist- or underground spy, whatever you'd like to call it. "Mrs Moore may have bought some of your jewelry before. I've seen one of her social media posts depict a huge ruby ornament from a local jeweller," She reached out to pat his arm reassuringly, "You keep playing with with your hair, is the nearby crowd unnerving? Maybe you'd prefer we'd speak somewhere private?"
As she was given the orders, or no order in Lucius' case, the young woman nodded and walked swiftly away with no intention of getting drinks yet. She nodded to some people in a way of saying 'hello!' or 'good evening' as she passed by, quickly dodging into a corner, out of earshot as she possibly could be.

Even thought the girl worked alone, it didn't mean she didn't often have a helping hand. She fiddled with her ear which actually had a communications device in it, and she bit her lip, looking around her to make sure no one was looking her way, and she turned to face the wall, gently speaking as quietly as she could.
"You get that name, Grey?"
The young girl waited for a minute or so, biting her lip harder, hoping her friend hadn't been found or something.
"Yo, Grey? You copy?!"
A quiet yet loud enough for it to ring through the hackers ears, ring went off, and there was the sound of pressing buttons before a cute, soft yet feisty voice shot through the com and into the brunette's ear.
"Yeah, yeah! I'm here, keep yir' socks on."
A sigh of relief came from the girl, and she glanced behind her to check no one was looking again, before turning her attention back to the device.
"Right. Do me a favour and search my files for a 'Lucius Mirikuo', alright?"
"Yep, got it Elle." More typing could be heard from her friend's side of the line. "It's loooaaaading. You need faster-- oh, wait."
"Grey, I'm a hacker, of course I have super fast wifi. How long have you known me?!" A soft laugh escaped the girls lips, and another glance around followed. "Quick, results. I've not got much time."
"Hmm... nope, nope, nope... Not that I can see, boss! I'll do some cowering and blink through if I find anything. Just call if ya' need me!! I'm here for support!!"
"You're here for way more than support, babe." The girl let a small smile cross her face as she fiddled with her ear-piece again, turning it on one way, and she backed out from the corner, wishing her friend good luck on the research.

The young woman finally made her way over to the drinks, and she managed to grab a glass of wine and a glass of champagne for herself, before gliding back to the two she'd been conversing with. "Sorry for the wait, Juliet. Everybody's wanting some drinks!" A soft laugh came from the girl, but it was almost distant. She handed the wine over to her new acquaintance, before tossing a forced smile to Lucius. "Anything interesting happen while I was gone?"
"I mean, other than me being a nervouth wreck, not really." She laughed at her own joke and took the glass, taking a pretty sizable sip from the glass.
