He watched them quietly.

"Oh, okay!" She points at Flint's forehead. "Can you hear me?" Runa asks in Flint's mind.
Ever watched silently, amused at Flint’s ability. She noticed another boy watching, one in a wheel chair. She gave him a small smile.

"Yay! It worked this time!"
"this time?"
"Yeah, sometimes it doesn't work...."
"oh ok its still a really cool power"
She grins. "Thanks!" She licks her lollipop.
"heh" looks at ody "hello"
