Sae did not speak but instead jumped back into the shadows and jumped out of the shadows onto lotal

"oh." he grabbed Sae and threw her on the on the ground.
As he moved he made the mistake of going through a shadow and she disappeared mid smash
She went out of the shadows and put her hands up
"that was weird."
She made the sign language for please stop
"just... don't attack the rune, got it? if you were here a few seconds ago, you would full well know why,"
"I know" she signed "but I can help her" she signed motioning at ardi
"with what, and if you know why did you do it?"
"I was chasing the darkness away not destroying the rune" she signs
"I attack with shadows which is what it fights with I was showing it who's boss" she signed
"no, that's what the thing trapped inside it fights with. it's... just a fancy rock."
"Exactly and it also enchated Lee with shadow freeze" she signed
"you don't understand. the thing inside it is impenetrable unless the rune is broken. and we all know what happens then."
"I'll see if I can unenchant Lee" she signs and puts her hands over Lee
Rune: the darkness weakens, but not completely.
