Jane had thought she was safe here, stretching out her wings. Normality had come with a price, namely that her wings were cramped and hurting inside the jacket.

This particular day Jane had decided to hide behind a tattoo parlor. No one seemed to come out here at the moment, and the windows were closed. Nobody would come and see her for the freak she really was- Or so she thought.

Felix sighed as her boss ordered her to take out the old needles to the toxic bin in the bag, taking the bag into her hand. She headed out the door, hurrying to the back, not enjoying being away from watching her boss at work. Watching him was the only way to go on to tattoo on her own after all.

Felix got to the back and almost fell. There a thing stood there, large wings comeing from her back!?

Jane turned around and gasped. Well, no use in hiding her wings now. Maybe this was an opportunity to finally share her secret? Although, Jane wished that she could start a full-fledged friendship before revealing this juicy bit of info. "Um, hi.~" Really smooth, Jane. Way to play it off.

Felix dropped the trash to the ground. "W-what?" She had never seen anything like it before, so out of this world.

Jane gulped. She had never been seen like this before. In fact, she had rarely ever interacted with any humans at all.

"I- Um... Well, er..." Jane folded her arms, grabbing the bare arms with her hands. The tank top she was wearing was suddenly inadequate enough for her to be warm, despite the clear day and lovely temperature. Her eyes suddenly found a sudden interest in her shoes.

"I'm an angel?" She tried in a small, quiet voice. Lying was much easier than explaining the entire story right now. "Well... Sort of."
