Unintentionally, the twins have washed upon the shores of Rigel during a trip from Krita to Vinosea for a small job to round up a few escaped prisoners that had supposedly fled to Vinosea, unfortunately neither sibling were good at navigation and they fell way off course, and several days at sea led them to eventually wash up on the shores of the nation that was thought to be nothing more than a piece of fiction, the mythical Rigel. Confused, astounded, and believing that they had died, the siblings began traveling about the country in search of whatever information they could get a hold of. They had received rather odd looks from the natives, their armor was far more advanced than what anyone had access to in Rigel, it was stronger and looked far more sophisticated, but rather than rejecting the siblings, they assumed they were nothing more than skillful blacksmiths.
As they traveled about the country, they learned of an ancient labyrinth that was rumored to contain a special treasure, but it they could only enter the temple if they managed to conquer the trials of Astéri, the island of Rigel's Star Deities. After hearing about these legends, the siblings decide to head out to the island to try their hand at the trials. They were confident their skills would be more than enough to help them clear the trials, and thus they began heading off towards the island, wishing to become the first ones to enter the temple that remained hidden in the Verdant Labyrinth. Along the way, they run into your characters whom are heading out to the island for various reasons. Seeing they were heading for the same goal, they decide to travel together, figuring more people on board would make the trials easier. Will you be able to successfully clear the trials or will you die like the rest of the trial goers?
Alright, I'm simply looking for someone to join my Twin Blades on an adventure through Astéri and eventually the Verdant Labyrinth. This will be filled with plenty of adventure and combat, especially early on. Your character can be a native of Rigel or someone who happened to wash on the shores of Rigel, though do realize if you are a native of the country, the technology you have access to will be rather primitive, being similar to what was available in Anglo-Saxon England, so keep that in mind. If you are from elsewhere in the world, you'll mostly be limited to technology from the early 1900s United States (if you're from New Ravenloft) to the early Colonial America. I don't really mind what your character's race is, whether they're human, anthro, whatever, it's up to you. Magic does exist in Majoria, but be wary overusing the magic can result in them either passing out or straight up dying, so keep note of that. This can either be a 1x1 or a small group (2-4 people). I don't require novels or big ass posts, but I do require at least a paragraph per post. Anything else that happens in the RP is up for debate. PM me or reply down below if you're interested.

Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.

Unrest may be part of the setting, but any scenes that happen to involve combat may be summarized.
