I can't find the original thread for this so apologies if two threads exist.
The questions for this thread:
Have you seen any new movies latey?
If so, what did you think?
Do you recommend them or recommend staying away from them?

Movie:
Tully
Recommended?
Yes, but I wouldn't call it a feel-good movie. It's more of a thinker.
Your Impression:
It had an eerie, creepy feel at first, but if you can get through that, it starts to get interesting, and the twist at the end is really something. Makes important statements about mental health, self-care, and motherhood.
Movie:
Mama Mia 2: Here We Go Again
Recommended?
No
Your Impression:
We saw this last night, and it's almost out the theater. I honestly didn't like it that much, and I like musicals. They jumped into the songs too fast without enough character development, and the songs just felt so awkwardly happy, almost corney. And I am a fan of The Sound of Music and Annie so corney is absolutely okay with me, but this was over the top, even for me. Lol. However, the ending DID make me cry, so that's a plus to me.
Also...the song Andante. What a pretty song. That might have made the movie worth it for me, I now will look for that song.

Its a lovely, film. Ive watched ot twice and enjoyed it a lot. Its about a girl whos cat leads her on an adventure. Which is the very loose plot. It uses silence in a very intresting way that really captivates, you.
Also.
The characters are beautiful.
