Hey, I'm just wondering how exactly dice rolls work???
As in what are they used for? Depends entirely on the person or system. There's some info here though.

I assume you've seen the link talked about here? Looks like you have managed to roll some dice, after all!
The collection of dropdowns for it are:
Roll [how many dice] dice, each with [how many sides].
Modifyers are something used in RPs that can improve or worsen your chances based on defined things like your character's skill level and the circumstances they're in.
The optional note is exactly that. You can use it to state what you're rolling for, what values mean what results, just be silly...
If you roll multiple dice through the dropdown, you will only see the total, not the individual dice. If you want to see individual dice, used the link underneath, "Add another die roll to this post." If you decide you don't want to roll any, have the number of dice set to 0 and none will post.
