Sirens blared in the distance as Tech ran down the road. Tech had been out later then usual when she saw two guys trying to break into a store. They broke the window and once the alarm sounded they bolted as fast as they could before the neighbors could see them. The only person they saw was Tech in front of the broken window. She knew they were going to call the police even before they did. Now she was in trouble. Why did I have to stay there? Why couldn't I have bolted with them? she thought as she ran into the woods.
