Well, I think we lost Ely and I'm gettin' burned out, so we should probably just pause til' tomorrow anyway.))
El sighed as he listened to them. They were dead. He had no doubt about it anymore. They were all dead. At least wherever they were, this strange purgatory didn't seem like a dull place. Rather cheery actually, but it wasn't heaven, that was for sure.
Markal listened to the talk for a while. It seemed more and more likely that they were dead, but he stubbornly refused to believe it. "I was outside with my sister at night. I remember saying good night to her and falling asleep in the grass beneath a tree." He wondered uncomfortably if he'd gone in his sleep. He could picture his sister waking up and thinking him asleep only to find him never to wake up again. A shiver ran down his spine.
They finally had reached the tall gates of the city. As Xiana touched the doors, a strange feeling ran through her body. She didn't know what they might find waiting for them in the city, or if they would even find answers to their questions in there. She looked back at the others a bit nervously.
El smiled up at her, his tail wagging slowly and he tried giving her hand a reassuring lick.
Elra shook his head. "Man, it doesn't seem like anyone's stories would make sense." He said being completely ignorant of some hints in the stories that showed that they were all dead. He'd shake his head and look toward the city and gulp, he'd hope that he could find his parents and sister here.
Markal nodded. "We're not dead. All we have to do is figure out where we are and why we're here." He said in a sure voice. He couldn't let himself believe for a second that they were actually dead. He was determined to figure the mystery of this place out.
Xiana looks back at the door and knocks hard. She backs away a bit as the doors slowly open to them.
((Sorry with the short response I didn't have much to say lol))

As story's were exchanged, Rita merely canted her head in a display of confusion. "Elra's right. It doesn't make any sense." Her red gaze shifted to Markal and she nodded. "I don't think so, either. It doesn't make sense." She, too, was ignorant of the truth behind their stories. A blissful ignorance.
She smiled, reassured by this. Her gaze fell to the doors and she watched as they opened to reveal the city. Her expression was nothing short of awestruck wonderment.
Her form shifted back to that of the two-tailed critter and she darted onward through the opened doors, a childish giggle resonating from her and resounding in her newfound companions minds.

El trotted off behind her, "Rita! Stay close!" he called as he caught up, "I don't want you to get lost," he said and touched his nose to hers.
Elra found himself being dragged by Rita as she darted forward and he'd pick up the pace so that he could match her speed. "Let's find our families Rita!" He said with a smile. Completely ignoring the fact that Elemeno wanted everyone to stay together, all that was on his mind was his mom and dad, he wanted to get home, this place was nice, but after seeing that orb, he wasn't sure what to think of it.
Markal chuckled as he watched the three of them. "Well we better catch up with them if we don't want to get left behind." He said to Xiana. He walked through the doors, a sense of safety coming from no longer being outside with...whatever that orb had been.
Rita giggled and nodded to Elra. As Elemeno reached her and pressed his nose to her own, she returned the gesture with a second giggle.
The small fox-like critter turned to Elra and sought to leap up onto his shoulder and then to scamper up and atop his head.

Elra looked up to Rita as she jumped onto his head and laughed. He'd give her a little pat before moving forward and looking around for his parents, he'd frown when he found no one even close to looking like his parents, he didn't even see any elves around. "Ermm..." He said with a shake of his head. "They don't seem to be around here."
Rita remained perched atop his head as they made their way forward and about the city. Her tails wagged initially in her excitement, however, her excitement wavered as their searching bore results for neither. "I don't see my family here either..."
Elra shook his head and his ears would drop down a bit. "This place is huge, I hope they're not too far away." Suddenly an orb, not unlike the one that dropped to the group earlier, would emerge from the darkened sky and seemed to attract itself to Elra. He'd turn pale. "Oh no, not another one of those things."
The orb would stop before Elra's face, he wanted to swat it away, but his curiosity would get the better of him and he'd do nothing. Inside the orb was a vision of an abnormally huge man with spiky hair and red eyes. His face was elongated and his razor sharp teeth would make his mouth impossible to close, he could be seen munching on something, but his hand would cover that, however whatever he was eating would spew out blood as he took a few bites. He'd then looked toward Elra and give a bloody smile to him.

Narita nodded to Elra. "I hope so too..." She looked up as another orb seemed to come close to them. Her fur stood on end and her ears flattened. This was not good, was it?
She stayed close to Elra as the vision within was witnessed. It seemed even more horrifying than the first had been. Her red eyes widened at the bloodied creature. What could it possibly be?
The little Kyurae stared at the orb, but - growing frightened of it - she sought to breathe those azure flames at it. Unfortunately, it wasn't very strong at all.
