Narita's flames would probably only add to the man's demonic nature.

Elra frowned and looked down. "My god..." He said quietly to himself.

A smaller man of similar physical features would appear before the tall man, it would seem that these two were demons, their skin extremely pale and with razor sharp teeth and red eyes. The smaller demon looked to the taller one. "I've found another one chief."

The "chief" looked to the small demon and nodded his head with his bloody smile appearing once again. "Very good, my appetite remains unsatisfied, let's move forward." He said before leading the man to another spot. The orb slowly disintegrated and would eventually disappear into the darkness.

Elra looked up again. "It's so horrible... b-but that man... he. He looks familiar." He said.

Rita could only watch the scene as it played out inside the orb. It was quite terrifying to the little fox creature as she watched, still growling and her fur remaining on end. What terrible creatures...

She only calmed slightly as the orb disappeared into the darkness. Just what in the world were these orbs? What did they symbolize?

Her gaze shifted to Elra as he spoke. "F-Familiar?" she echoed, a note of fear returning to her voice. An encounter with someone such as that...could not have ended well...

Elra nodded his head. "Yeah, I think I remember seeing him, well I mean before I ended up here, I think he was one of the demons my parents told me about so many times, why I shouldn't go out too far when I play." He said with a shake of his head. "I hope the demons didn't get my parents..."

Rita listened to him as he explained. "O-Oh..." she said quietly. She shook her head. "I'm sure the demons didn't get them. They've gotta be somewhere here..." she said. She believed so, at least.

Elra nodded his head. "Yeah, they... they're pretty strong, they know what to do when demons attack, I'm pretty sure they fought them off. My dad actually knew a demon hunter, I'm sure he taught him a thing or two." He said in an attempt to convince himself that his parents would never get killed by demons.

Narita nodded to him. "I bet they would be able to fight off demons like that easily!" she said, somewhat hopefully. "I bet this place is just trying to scare us away from something..." she said. "Those orbs...They're all really scary things."

Elra nodded in agreement. "Yeah I agree, I really don't like them, but... but maybe they'll give me more answers about how I got here." He said as he folded his arms. "Or maybe it'll tell me where my parents are."

Rita nodded to him. "Maybe they will. I hope so, at least." she said. "They're strange and I don' know what they are, but they could be good or bad. We don' know yet..." She seemed to be rather confused by it all.

Elra shook his head. "Those... those guys are not good, my parents told me that all demons seek to do is eat and we Elves are their favorite meal." He said with a gulp, he shivered just thinking of what it would be like being eaten by one of those things. "My mom told me that we were only one of ten families still left because of those demons." He said with a look of worry on his face.

Rita nodded to him. "No, the demons are definitely bad." she said. The story he explained only made her shudder. "To do something that cruel..." She looked to where the orb had once been. "But...those strange orbs...They might be able to help us. Everything we've seen in them has been scary, though..." It seemed doubtful, yet...

Elra nodded. "I know, it's just... just terrible." He looked to Rita. "Maybe we can find more of those orbs around here, we'll be able to uncover some more information." He said with a smile.

I know ya do, rofl. She's still one of my own favorites. Unfortunately, my brain is incredibly dead right now.))

The group just continued walking forward, an orb appeared before Elra and he saw a couple demons in it, he said he recognized one of them, but he didn't quite know from where, the group is in the town now, but other than that orb, nothing else has happened ))

Just regular pencils, both sketched it and inked it on paper glad you like it ))

El remained next to Rita the whole time and growled quietly at the orb as it appeared. He was becoming protective of her already.

As soon as Markal saw the orb, his hand went to where he usually kept his kasarigama but only grabbed at air. He mentally cursed himself for not having it and a small part of him in the back of his mind wondered just where his weapon had gone. Before he could do anything though, the orb was gone again. His eyes glanced upwards, almost expecting to see another orb floating down. These things seemed to single them out. Elra looked really freaked out. Did each orb show an individual their fears?

Rita looked to Markal and Elemeno as they reached their sides. She looked to them. "I think...we might have a clue....These orbs are scary, but maybe they are the clues to what happened to us..."
