Zombies are the bodies of ghosts who lost their souls and their job is to restore the soul back to the ghost and kill the owner of the soul, but what does a zombie do when the ghost wants their soul to continue being owned? According to Thomas’s body, it’s to keep trying even with continuous failure but at what point does someone need to find another afterlife goal? Times are easier when you’re a new zombie who has no human intelligence but after 200 years life can get pretty boring without another person.
Magic is rare, but not unheard of. Mundane characters may or may not believe in it. Magical characters may form small and exclusive pockets for study, protection, etc.
Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Romance is required, but may take some time to develop. For example: slow burn RPs.
