So uhm, I don't know if this has been suggested or not, but when I go to insert a picture in a chat forum (like this), on Mozilla it comes up as a box with a text box that says 'URL'. So I have to put in an URL. Can I suggest an 'upload' possibility that you can upload a picture from your computer? 'cause I really don't want to have to upload a picture to Tinypic every time I wanna show something off.

As convenient as this would be, I think it may be beyond the scope of our purpose here. Uploading images to share just for fun, not necessarily related to any character or RP group, puts us in the awkward position of having to create an extra interface to manage all those uploaded files.
What happens if you want to post a picture a second time? Would it be uploaded again? Would there be a whole new context menu for selecting from a list of stuff you've previously uploaded?
In short, to replace the function of sites like tinypic, I would have to rewrite everything that tinypic has already done over the many years that they've been in existence. They're still business for a reason: They're the image uploading specialists. I'm gonna try to keep to being a RP network specialist.
