On November 6, 10,000 players log into SAO's mainframe cyberspace for the first time, only to discover that they are unable to log out. Kayaba appears and tells the players that they must beat all 100 floors of Aincrad, a steel castle which is the setting of SAO, if they wish to be free. He also states that those who suffer in-game deaths or forcibly remove the NerveGear out-of-game will suffer real-life deaths.
Kioko Hironoka was one of those ten thousand people trapped on Aincrad. She left behind her nine year old niece in the real world, who was her driving force for survival. However, two months into the game she found herself alone, and low on health. Will someone come to her rescue? Who?

I'm pretty flexible when it comes to length per response, but I do tend to do one to multiple paragraphs, so if you could match that it would be amazing! Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
Romance is required, but may take some time to develop. For example: slow burn RPs.
