The day was cold and grey, as with most winter days within the city. Sure, there were people walking about, minding themselves, but they were only out because they had to. They were all huddled in on themselves, hoping that the chill wouldn't bite them through their thick clothes. But really, who cares about those people? The people that others cared about were inside, hidden away from the cold and peering eyes, drinking up their fill until they were blushing red or blacking out.

It was the 20's. It was a party every night and everyone loved it - well, except for the police, but who cares about them?

In this speakeasy called the Virtuous Castle is where we begin.
