Codie moved his blade the block the attack with ease.. he had learn to use sound and air movement to help with anything comeing at him from his blind side, his hearing had also become more keen on that side
Gabe
"Nice," He was learning to cope with his being half blind and was rather good at it. "Again." I do the same thing for the second time, this one might be a mit more difficult to pull off though.

Codie slipped back and ducked under the blade, just missing by an inch. though an inch or two of the hair standing on his head did get a small cutting.
Gabe
"Almost." I swing at him again, in a similar manner. Once he gets this then he should be alright for the day. We did training in short sessions so they retained all the information and didn't tire them out too much.

Codie moved his blade this time and was able to block his attack.
Gabe
"I think you've got it..." He had been doing this for a few days, and I was pretty sure he understood it enough to go and use in a real like situation. "Want to go with me on a contract?" This might give him some real experience and help him on so many levels. He didn't need to, definitely not but it still might serve some purpose.

" sure"Codie said with a smile.
Gabe
"Okay... Come on." I start walking towards the door. It was a rather simple contract, if we got caught then it would be alright. Remaining unseen was optional. Wouldn't cause any major problems, in theory. "The target is a mercenary, he should be reporting to his contact. We'll either catch him on the way or while he's exchanging information with his associate."

"alright" Codie said with a nod
Gabe
I went outside and started for the bridge off of the island. The guards had thinned somewhat in these past few weeks - thanks to the other Assassins. The place we were going was maybe half-way across the city. There was a stable nearby, if we could get horses then that would help a little bit. It was free anyways.

Codie stuck close to him, kinda glad to be out after being stuck inside for so long.
Gabe
We got to the stables and I untied and mounted a horse. It was all black. "Here, this will be a bit quicker. The place we're going to is quite a ways away."

Codie nodded as he climbed onto a horse next to him
Gabe
I flicked the reins of the horse gently, getting it to move into a steady trot. As for where we were going, I had a pretty good idea, but then again there was that everlasting feeling of doubt that always consumed me. This was a rather confusing city. But thankfully we were headed for the countryside. I just had to get out at the right spot.

codie followed behind him quietly.
Gabe
I did go in the right direction, and on the vast plains it was now easy to navigate. The ruin that they were supposedly meeting at was visible. I steer the horse in that direction and keep him moving at a steady pace. Mess it up and I might cause Coda to run into me - not a good idea.

"where we going?" Codie asked quietly
Gabe
"See that broken down tower over there?" It was still far away right now, but it was possible to see. My guess was that the thing had not been formally used in hundreds of years.

"yeah i see it" he said
Gabe
"That's where he should be." I slow down a bit while a guard gallops past on horseback. They don't like it all that much when you're going at anything more than a walk. Must think you're up to something, or running away from the law. I'm not sure. Soon as he's gone, I speed back up again and remain focused on our destination. Wasn't far now.
