This is odd but I had the weirdest yet interesting dream last night about a m/c finding a pirate whom is y/c in the modern world. It sounds odd but i think it'll make an interesting toon rp. After a few minutes,m/c decided that y/c should go with her to school,since he or she looks like a high schooler.

No combat. If problems arise, players may be expected to solve it without resorting to violence.
Romance isn't outright desired, but can happen if we decide the characters are perfect for each other. The romance won't be important to the overall plot.
