Neo knew this place didn't have long until it crumbled to pieces, they better hurry.
"Seems to me this place is coming down on top of us. Lets get out of here before we both die," Vlad said, and ran towards the trapdoor, jumping up.
Nero hesitated, but jumped through the trapdoor behind him, best to take a risk, than to be destined to die for fact.
When both of them had cleared the building, Vladimir looked on, feeling a little less triumphant, but a little less guilty. In other words, he felt... Nothing. And he liked it.
Nero took a step away once they were outside, he just now had the feeling they might try to kill him again.Nero turned around, and looked at the building. The building behind them collapsed into a bunch of rubble.
Then Vladimir turned towards Neo, and sheathed his sword. He had an idea. "I have a change of heart. If you want to join our side, and help us wipe out the racism, fascism, and horrible things that was your country's government, I'll let you live, and even keep on training you. What do you say?"
Nero looked at Vladimirwith dark green eyes, that was a sudden change of heart.Nero thought over this option for a moment, his grip tightened on Searo."Why should I trust you on that offer?" He asked. After all, Vladimir had tried to kill him for hours now.
"Because, if I truly wanted to kill you, I could've done it in so many different ways while we were escaping. And I could've done it right about now," Vladimir explained with a grin on his face. He didn't know if Nero would accept his most gracious offer or not.
Nero scowled at him with distrust. So let me get this straight, Vladimir wanted to kill him, and now he didn't all of a sudden? It was a little hard to believe. But despite the situation of things, Nero sheathed his sword, and put his gun back in its rightful place. The silent, but simple, way of saying fine.
"Very well. Come with me. I promise nothing will happen," Vladimir said, and he walked towards their base, which was quite the ways away. For now.
He better dam*ed keep that promise.Nero followed behind Vladimir, keeping a few feet in distance between them, some mistrust still lurked inside him.
"So, you feeling tired today?" Vladimir asked, and kept walking. He unloaded his gun to show that he really wasn't in the mood.
Nero shook his head.He watched as the bullets came out of the gun, he finally trusted Vladimir's word, but 1% of mistrust would remain, always.
"Hello? Anyone there?" Vladimir asked, and thought he could hear someone, but he knew it was himself talking.
Nero looked at Vladimir, curiosity in his expression. He didn't hear anybody, except for Vladimir, and the only sound he heard was their footsteps in the dirt.
"Very well. So, tonight, we'll camp out here, then." Vladimir said, pointing to a trench that was left behind.
Neros eyes darted to the trench in which Vladimir pointed to.He followed Vladimir all the way to the trench, in which they would camp at.
He fell asleep on a piece of wood, blocking him from laying down in the mud. While he was used to that stuff, he really hated trench life. It was hell during the wars he was in.
Nero wound up falling asleep somewhere in that trench. He wasent to far from Vladimir, 9 feet maybe.A few strands of his white hair just dangeling in his eyes.
"Sir, why the change of heart?"
"Because he just realized it was a good idea to change Nero."
"But why change him? Why not kill him?"
"General, do you know of anything? If you have two Daemon Hunters on one side, how fast would the war be over?"
"Very, I guess,"
"Exactly. Now lets see what he does,"
Vladimir didn't know that there was an airship above them. Hell, he thought they abandoned that plan. But he would know later. He woke up tired, but he never felt tired. Time to wake up Nero.
