The Outcasted (played anonymously)

Two years had passed since Neararo had left home to go learn.Good things of course, better skills, better combat.Handy things. He spent 7 months learning, from dawn until dusk,7 days a week.Everything was a repeating sequence. After the 7 months had ended,he returned home, exactly on the 31st.Some may ask why he didn't stay and learn more for a few more months, well sometimes, you just long for home.He hadent missed much back at home, but it was nice to be back, but only if Neararo knew,he would need what he learned come the future.

Neararo sat in a tree near his house, simply bored, his sword,Seararo, lightly in his crip just dangeling off the branch. He knew of the war that had started in a place, about 200 miles from where he was now.He knew there was a chance he could be drafted, seeing as though he was over the age of 18.Honestly,he didn't care if he was drafted, even if he was.Death approaches all at some time,so if he died,it would just mean his clock of life, saved a few ticks, nothing more, nothing less.He looked down and sighed."Neararo!!" A voice yelled from afar.Just one of Nero's friends. His friend ran over, breathing heavily,"your, mom said to give this,to you" he said,Neararo took the envelope, the envelope had a mark on the front,a war mark.He ripped open the envelope, and began to read over the letter that was inside.Drafted for war,of course.Such irony.

The distant thundering roar of artillery kept any man awake throughout the night, loud even a few miles away. It went on for hours and hours, constantly bombarding enemy lines with shells as large as a person, and sometimes, even bigger. Occasionally, the whistle of an incoming shell would be heard, and it would slam down into the ground, or a building. Stone and metal, or earth and stone, would shoot into the air, and maybe a few people would die. Nothing more, nothing less.

The rapid noise of gunfire would once in a while burst out, the tatatatat sound repeating over and over again until the enemy was dead. It was nothing new, but then again, nothing old. Very rarely, though, would a man shout out "Plane!" and everyone would duck for cover, the blistering fire of anti aircraft guns ripping into the plane, or the screeching of a missile taking off. Sometimes, they heard the crash of the plane. Other times, they heard nothing but bombs dropping, or a minigun erupting out.

The air smelled of smoke, fire, and death, never changing wherever they went. The landscape was riddled with shells and flame; dead trees grew everywhere. Major cities, once bright and gleaming, now were reduced to rubble, the metal and glass covering the ground. Small towns burned, or were simply left standing, the ruins of expensive houses dotting the countryside. Occasionally, you might find a wrecked tank, or maybe a few armored cars.

At the front stood Vladimir, dressed in a dull black trench coat, with red on the epaulets and collar, and six golden stars on the red epaulets. He wore a black and red pointed commissar's hat, with a golden eagle fixed upon it, a symbol of his rank, too. On his waist was a large sword, still in its hilt. The name, as some knew, was Nex, and all feared it. On his side was an smg, not that large, but still large enough to be a feared weapon of war.

He stood there, admiring the view he had created. From his mouth, he puffed on a cigar, and smiled. War. It was his life, and his living. But it could also be his death, one day. He knew it would come. Inevitable. And his old student? Well, he might try to kill him. No matter, the world would miss him, but his enemies wouldn't.

From behind, a man wearing a dark grey trench coat appeared, with a green armor plating on his chest, and a green helmet. He wore a light grey brown gas mask, and it had darkened lenses. A Death Korpsman. One of the most feared things in the world. On his back was an assault rifle/carbine mix: A TASC-1, a weapon that looked like WW1 weapons, and in his hands was a note. Rather old style, but still.

"Yes?" Vladimir asked, not even looking behind him. He was that good. His voice sounded grim, and had a thick accent to it.

"Letter, sir. Orders from The Stronghold," the Korpsman replied, his voice darkened by the mask. Vladimir sighed. Why couldn't they let him run his own show?

"Very well. Let me see," And he read the letter, and sighed, taking out his cigar. "So, Pink's ordering us to move up. Apparently, there's another Daemon Hunter in the area. So that's what I sensed. Very well. Order your men to pack up. We leave at dawn,"

All was peace,in this place 200 miles away from war,Neararo reread the note,he was going to leave for war tonight, start at dawn,at least according to the letter. It was even signed by the commander, how he knew that signature wasent fake,it was a well known, but rare to see, signature to see.You would have to have good reason to have a letter from him.Neararo sighed, and folded the letter, putting it in his coat pocket. He put his sword in its sheath, and jumped down out of the tree, and landed on his feet, finely, with no stumble,.He looked at his friend,"I leave tonight" he said,His friend nodded,"I wish you luck, and hope that you return safely.Courage for all the bad and worse things," he friend said."Thanks " Neararo said.He nodded goodbye to his friend, and ran towards his house. He slammed the door open, and slammed it shut, and ran upstairs. He ran into his room, and began to get ready.3 things he would not forget,1.His sword Seararo.2.His two guns, and 3.everything else he NEEDED.

Later that day, at nighttime,he was riding in a car, down the road, looking at the things around him, through the window,he brought one bag, nothing more.War in the morning. He sighed a slight sigh under his breath,he was ready to possibly die.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

"Sir?" Vladimir was woken up by a captain of the Korps, hand on his SMG. A man meaning no harm, and had done none to him. "The men are ready to leave, sir. At your command,"

Vladimir nodded, and got up from his doze. Quiet, and serene. The shelling stopped, but the planes did not. In fact, they increased in intensity. He could hear dozens of his fighters and dive bombers roaring across the sky, finding their targets, and roaring back. Some did not return always, and some did. But that was War.

Finally, he had the strength to get up, and walk out into the day. There, in front of him, stood thousands of Death Korpsmen, hundreds of SS troops, and hundreds of thousands of Guardsmen, all ready for their advance forward. Hundreds of tanks, hundreds of armored cars, and thousands guns stood ready to fight, and they were all ready to move. Vladimir gave the order. They moved now.

He got into his command tank, a massive tank with a minigun in the hull, a turret containing a 135mm main gun, and two .50 machineguns. There, he would act as commander, and get out when the fighting got bad.

Morning soon came, and Neararo was ready,he was slightly tired, seeing as though the only sleep he had,was in the car, with the side of his head against the glass of the window. But he would live, that wouldn't kill him,but his future just might. He was ready for war, prepared, aware.
(Should Neararo be on the opposite side or their side,it would be a plot twist if he was?)
Vladimir (played by HRA)

(Vladimir wouldn't expect another Daemon hunter on the other side, so yes, it would be a plot twist,)

They began their first attack in the afternoon, moving around 100 miles or so to the next city. Vladimir had called in a bombardment of the city, and the planes had done a great job. The buildings were nearly destroyed. But that provided extra cover for the enemy. No matter, they'd do well on their own.

"Send in the Guardsmen and Korps. I want each squadron commanded by an SS soldier," Vladimir ordered, and walked forward. "I'm going in this city. I want the shelling to start, and the place surrounded,"

(Hm,what if Nero was spying on your side, and got caught? You know, finding out time of attacks, and all, would that be a good way to meet, again?)

Nero was with his side.None of which he knew of course, nobody, everyone was a stranger to him, anonymous people.Nobody said a word to him, nobody said a word period. The only person who spoke was the commander, telling them info.Nero played close attention,as did everyone else.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

(Sure. Sounds like an interesting plot)

Vladimir stalked among the city ruins, watching the carnage unfold. At all sides around him, soldiers were firing at enemy soldiers, killing them in massive splashes of blood. Vladimir himself was attacked, but he fired a shot and killed the man. Energized by that kill, he ran forward, drawing his sword. In one hand, he held a massive sword: Nex. And in the other, Sulphure, his gun. The gun fired, and he swung, decapitating a man, and shooting another in the chest. "ONWARD! FOR THE GLORY OF THE WORMS!"

He waved his sword hand forward, his right, and the gun hand in the air, his left. He shouted, and charged forward. Behind him, his Death Korpsmen charged forward, guns firing. Bodies fell all around him, and he killed many.

(Would that be Nero's side their attacking?)
Vladimir (played by HRA)

(Yes)

This was a surprise attack, but of course, this being war, they were prepared for things like this.Once they were attacked, they attacked back. With either swords,or guns,or even both.Neararo grabbed the hilt of his sword and pulled out his sword from the sheath on his back,he attacked one of the enemys. Most surrounded the commader. When numbers of soildures began to get low for them, they retreated for now,it would be fatal to stay.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

"They're retreating! Its a victory!" A man shouted, obviously not a Korpsman. He was a guardsman, but instantly, he was shot. An enemy sniper had pinpointed him, and fired, ripping his face apart. Vladimir could see him, and he fired a few shots off, killing the man.

"Hold this place! Do not celebrate until we have secured it!"

Some risked a second to shoot one last shot before retreating in full.Nero stayed in the area,a risky move, but he hid securely in the shadows. He was precise with his hiding, nobody could see him for now.Nero watched as the man fell to the cold ground, dead, with no face, unmasked.Nero kept his sword to his side, his guns on his side,he kept quiet, not making a sound, not making a move, silent still.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

"Sir, they've been driven off. There are no survivors," The Captain, a man in a grey/brown/peach like colored trench coat said. Vladimir smiled, and holstered his gun, and sheathed his sword. So this war was going as well as he hoped it would go. So far, that is. He felt something, but he didn't know what it was, and shrugged it off.

"Good. Marvelous. Start shelling the next city, and get ready to move out," Vladimir ordered, and looked around. "Get an HQ and base set up here. I want this place our center of action, understood?"
The Outcasted (played anonymously) Topic Starter

Nobody knew Nero was there, nobody could see him,but he could see them.He smiled a slight tad,he was right to stay, they would make a base here,he could watch and eavesdrop on their plans, and report them to his commander. It wasent treason in his case, but luck, and words.A slight breeze blew, knocking his white bangs out of his eyes more then they already were, but when the small breeze stopped his bangs fell into his eyes,he brushed them out of the way.He watched the enemy, but hadent noticed Vladimir yet.He was like a spy now, watching undercover, would the enemy find him, only time could tell.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

The Captain nodded, and walked away. Vladimir moved into Nero's sight, but he didn't know it. He stopped, feeling something. He looked around, and seemed to sniff the air. Something or someone was here, and he didnt know who or what. He did see something move, and he stared right at the place Nero was hidden.

Nero saw a face,a familiar face,he couldnt put his finger on who though. The name..He hid into the shadows further when the man looked in his direction. He could not be seen today,he just couldn't,expesially by the enemy.Nero, watched the man, just slightly.Watching,waiting,everything.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

Vladimir looked closer, and was about to put his hand out to grab the rubble when a man approached him, bearing urgent news. Pink had ordered them to stay put and fortify, while the armored divisions and supplies caught up. Vladimir sighed, but he knew it was for the best.
The Outcasted (played anonymously) Topic Starter

Nero's heart heated slightly fast when the man began to look closer, but when his hidden place wasent revealed, his heart rate slowed back to a normal rate.He eavesdropped on the news, informative.
Vladimir (played by HRA)

Night began falling, and Vladimir went to bed. The base was being finished up, and the tent was already set up. Guards were posted around the important places, and around his tent. No one would get in there without being noticed, first.
