She was confused by his seriousness for once
"i don't know your name, so i called you friend"
She turned her back and opened a salad, she poured a ungodly amout of basalmic on it

"then call me SPARTAN i am not your friend"

"alright mr spartan"
She she pulled out a fork and almost all of her salad in only a few seconds-

"can you look away for a moment, its a bright light and i'd hate to make you go blind"

"i've seen worse"

"sure" She threw the salad and incinerated it with a flash cannon which is just angry light to be honest

he had no response as his mind flashes back to when he watched a covenant glassing beam bore into the dead rustic dirt of planet reach

She looked at him
"now at are you thinking of Spartan?"

"classifed"

"just say rather not talk about it, i understand if you've seen some stuff"
She pulled out a bunch or rare candy
"hey bro wanna try some rare candy, yes thats its name"

"no i am not your friend stop attempting to facilitate some kind of atmosphere of friendship between us after you just threatened to attack me with a laser and whatever a rotom is"

"not saying your my freind im litterally asking you if you want candy-"

"no" and with that he returned to his seat and back to viewing logs in private

"there he goes, welp im just going to-"
she pulled out a phone now infested with rotom
"....get out right now!"
She went over to a door and pulled the rotom out of the phone, she punted it into another universe, she closed the door calmly

he documented that little occurrence just in case it didn't hurt for SPARTAN's to keep logs of everything they were doing and potentiol enemies
