In a world where the second world war ended with less sunk, with more preserved, restored and modernised ships, and a third world war to really end all wars, a new navy has been formed at the dawn of the new millennium. The Free World Navy is patrolling the 7 seas of the world to stop pirates and other unlawful activities. A joint-fleet of all countries on earth, men and women serve aboard modern and historic ships to show unity across all shores.
The roleplay would be centered around Kaya's ship, the heavy cruiser Atago, with different roles for different people, ranging from mostly civilian duties like accounting, taking care of the mess hall and the ship's medical facilities, to utility focused tasks in the engine and boiler rooms, to of course combat tasks with the guns, torpedoes and such. If there's enough interest and people, then more ships can of course be added for proper fleet action.
Not yet sure if the roleplay would be happening in PMs or a proper forum since I haven't done anything in the forums before but PM me for suggestions or to show interest.

Modern
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.
Some romance is possible, but the overall plot is more important.
Details: Occasional dice use, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred. Will be played with a small group of players.
