In the video game ‘Magnia’, Lacuna was created to protect the world from evil. She was born in Lis Magnia, which is said to be the heaven of Magnia (it’s actually just the developer’s office, but the characters don’t know that). Lacuna is also required to accompany the player on their journey to defeat evil. Through the whole game, the player doesn’t learn a lot about them; they are just looked at to be the savior. Though, the characters have life, and Lacuna just feels trapped. She knows her world isn’t real, but won’t tell anyone, but she hates thinking that she’s living for nothing. Just to live forever over and over again seeing her world destroyed and saved by countless players again and again. They desire a life outside of ‘Magnia’, but feel completely hopeless that anything will ever be okay - and one day the game will shut down and nothing will matter anymore.

Y/C would be the player of the game, and basically they get trapped in the game itself. Think Jumanjii and SAO combined. That's what it's like. I'll play as Lacuna, and since Y/C is actually in the game, they can get to know Lacuna even better - and maybe they can save not only the fictional world of Magnia, but also the characters that only have repeated timelines to live for.
