Hello all RPers out there! I have always wanted to make my own world for people to enjoy and RP in! If I could get a few people to help me make a world set in the medeivil times (though if you want guns, Muskets and Flintlocks will work) With people making new materials and new types of weapons and factions and species and Enchantments and skills! (This will probably be done in a forum to avoid confusion) but just post below if you want to help out! Here are some of my ideas!
Material list, From weakest to strongest. (you can PM me with your metal ideas and tell me if they are stronger, Just as strong or in the middle of some metals) But there can only be three materials matching up to each other (Light, Medium and heavy)so the light stuff would allow faster swings and movement for armor, But not deal as much damage and not protect as much, Medium would be a neutral between all attributes. and Heavy is just the opposite of light

Gold-Orcish

Drawf Gold-Elfish
Cobalt-Nickel
Mithril-Phosphorus-Dragon Bone (Weapons) Scales (armor)
My own new species called Ocram (A species whos power depends on the sun or the moon, They are stronger in the day but their attacks are slower and more powerful, But at night they are faster and have weaker, More rapid attacks) They often focus in Necromancer and Fire magic, And most of their enchantments revolve around dark and fire enchantments. In day light they get a 50% Resistance to fire. but are 50% vulnerable to Dark magic in the day, And vice versa. They do not have the hands most intelligent beings do, so they cannot use regular weapons, Only specially made weapons. They have made their own metal called Nickel. They don't venture any where there is no moon or sun, So you wont find them in caves or shade often, if at all. They have four hands and eyes, The Eye colors are Red, Orange, Forest Green and very rarely they are pure black. Now they cannot quadruple wield (No reason yet, Just for balance purposes because that would mean they could duel wield two-handed weapons or use four spells at once. But I will probably make only one or two quad wield as a boss character for a bunch of high powered people) There body is in the shape of most beetles and have two bulky legs (because they have a lot of weight to support)They have a humanoid shaped head, But with mandibles like most Ants have, meaning even the common villager can take arms by using its strange hooked hands or sharp mandibles. They often come in red and black colors, But A greenish blue tint means someone of royalty. They have been hunted in recent years due to the fact that their eyes can be grind up to make deadly toxins and their scales can be grind up to make fire resistant potions. so Most towns do not welcome outsiders except for two cities called Alveare Coloniam, And Sol Alveare (Alveare Is common word in their settlements) That have mages who know translation spells and who are not xenophobic. People should take great care to engage them.

Perhaps two of those four arms are just not strong enough to wield weapons and don't channel magic well in 99.9% of the Ocram species? Maybe those two arms are meant for more delicate and precision oriented tasks.
As for a metal, you could include Mithril which would probably be as strong as dragon bones, but extremely light as well as extremely rare.
