Moriah had only been in her full Neko from for a few minutes before a demon started coming after her. She had long brown hair with eyes to match. Along with brown cat ears and tail on her, and black tatoo-like stripes on her arms, legs, waist, and cheeks. She had a cross choker around her neck, a bright red one, it almost seemed like it was on fire as she ran with it jiingling every step. The werid thing about how she was running, it was like a cat's run, on all fours. She looked to see how far the demon was but she was met with a tree in the side of her head. She felt dizzy and it looked like everything around her was spinning. She had stopped running and closed her eyes trying to make everything stop spinning. "Looks like I'll die like the rest of my generation." She though as the demon's scent became stronger and stronger, closing in on her.
A male with a red and brown hooded jacket on jumped from the tree and drew a blade.His speed unimaginable.He quickly sliced threw the nearby threat,his emotionless eyes getting covered by his brown hair.When finished he put his blade in its sheath then started walking,putting his hands in his pockets.
Moriah had woken up just in time to see the demon get killed. She stared with wide brown eyes that showed nothing about her. She looked over at the guy who had just saved her life. "Thank you sir." She quickly stood up, shifting back into her human from. No cat ears or tail, no black stripes, she looked like any other teenaged girl. Brown hair and brown eyes, normal skin color, nothing special.
"Don't thank me." He keeps walking,he seemed like a jerk but really wasn't.He just lost trust.His hand had three slice marks on them that haven't been treated.Gruya seemed like a lonely person.
Moriah caught up to the guy and walked along side. She couldn't see hs hand but smelled blood. "Are you bleeding?" She could tell human blood from demon blood.
"I'm fine.Besides...it happened a while back." He stops and looks behind him.His eyes showed a bit of fear but not much to be worried about."Why was that demon chasing you?Where were you for that to happen?" His sheath started to glow.
Moriah looked over at the demon and shuddered at how close that thing came to killing her. "I'm the last of my kind, it was most likely trying to get stronger by killing me." She shrugged, not knowing if she was right about the demon's reason for going after her.
"When a demon dies,another one comes to challenge who ever killed it." He grabbed her hand."Come with me." He started to run with her.
Moriah was surprised when he grabbed her hand and started running, she almost tripped and fell but regained her balance and kept up with him. "W-wher are you taking me?"
"Hope you don't mind going to my place but you really have no choice.That is unless you rather die by a bigger and stronger demon?" He picked her up and started running faster.
Moriah blushed slightly, but it wasn't too easy to tell. "I rather live than die." She mumbled to herself. She wasn't expecting another demon to be coming just to see who killed the weaker one, but she didn't want to chance her luck.
They come upon a building that was odd.It was bigger then two masntions combined.He walked her in and set her down on the couch that circled the whole room.
Moriah was still somewhat worried about the demon, she was usually tough but not when it came to demons. She had killed some before but they were weak and not much of a fight.
He sat down and looked at his tv that took up the whole wall.He grabbed the remote and turned it on."So you ok?"
Moriah nodded. She only had gotten cut by a tree branch that caught her arm but she passed it off as nothing, seeing that the bleeding had stopped. "Yes, I'm fine. What about you?" She looked up at him.
He nodded and pulled her closer."You can stay over my place if you want."
Moriah blushed slightly. "Uh, thanks, I don't really want to test my luck with demons." She gave out a nevruos laugh knowing she had the worse of luck when it came to keeping a demon away from her.
He smiled and kissed her hand."Indeed,and the name is Gruya."
"I'm Moriah." Most people knew that her name was out of place because instead of it being Mariah it was Moriah, sounding almost completely different from Mariah.
Gruya was known to be stric during battles but a bit loose and sexual when at home.He pulled her ontop of him.
