The Elder Scrolls:
A Lost Conflict

One power-crazed savage; a portal to powers unimaginable... only a tribe of nomads and a brave Outlander hero to stand against them.

"You and your tribe disgrace our people! To even acknowledge those false-god-worshippers and their Outlander overlords... it is an affront to our ancestors and the true gods!

But soon... soon I will have the power to change that. To wipe your miserable clan off the face of the world. To enlighten all of Tamriel to masters more worthy of their devotion! For I will join the gods in their pantheon and usher in a new age of Dunmer supremacy! I am no fool like Dagoth Ur; rest assured, godhood will be mine!"

- Huunamal of the Horde of Veloth

The Third Era is coming to an end - and it is about to go out with a bang. But as the civilised regions of Tamriel are forced to deal with the onset of the Oblivion Crisis, one Ashlander tribe in northern Vvardenfell is about to enter a conflict of equal importance. Now lost to the annals of time, this is the story of how an obscure hero and their Ashlander allies thwarted the rise of a potential new Daedric Prince.

Enter: The Myrni Tribe. A once insignificant group of outcast Ashlanders roaming the east side of the northern coast of the Vvardenfell Ashlands. Six years ago, they once existed as a wise chief and his handful of followers. Now, they number over a hundred. Outcasts, smaller tribes and the disillusioned all flocked to Ashkhan Zalamus after the defeat of the renewed Sixth House at the hands of the Nerevarine. The cause? A promise of a new way of life - a way that maintained their traditions and practices, whilst also ensuring a positive relationship with the Great Houses of Morrowind and the Empire that ruled over them. Benevolent, wise, and gifted with supernatural visions; the blind chief of the Myrni brought a prosperity and happiness to his people that the xenophobia of the other clans made impossible for themselves.

Then, one night, a hunting party came across the body of a stranger - unconscious and injured. Without explanation, Zalamus ordered they be brought to the Wise Woman's yurt, where they could be healed in the private presence of the Ashkhan and his counsel.

Looking for a partner to play the unknown adventurer. They can be any of the Tamriel races, but in order to maintain their status as an Outlander, it'd be best they weren't from the Morrowind province.

I'll be primarily playing Vildryn Uryl, who was originally a drow, but can be adapted into a Dunmer for the TES setting quite easily. His unnaturally dark skin and unusual (for a Dunmer) blue eyes make for an interesting talking point amongst his clan. The ten-year-old is tougher than he looks and despite his age, has been made Gulakhan and commander of the tribe's hunters and warriors. Nobody is quite sure why a child was put in such a position of power; but then nobody really understands just what Ashkhan Zalamus sees in his visions.

Other characters I will have sole control over include Ashkhan Zalamus, Wise Woman Kurryn, the main antagonist (all of whom are OCs) and any Daedra Princes who might be encountered along the way. Certain 'essential' NPCs might spring up from time to time - chances are that if it seems there's some plot centred around someone, it's best not to tamper with them.

Keep in mind that I plan to use the setting in its canonical scale. So towns, cities, roads, etc will be so much bigger/longer than in-game, as the TES games tend to scale down massively (well the modern ones do at least...). If you need inspiration to what canon-scale versions of certain Vvardenfell cities look like, DeviantART is full of fan art.

For those less privy to the TES timeline, this RP is set AFTER the events of ESO and TES I through III. It's set DURING Oblivion and BEFORE Skyrim.

- No Romance/Sexual Themes (nudity is fine, so long as it's portrayed non-sexually)

- No Godmodding. And no OP characters (at least at first). You don't have to be the equivalent of level 1, but you do have to be of mortal limits.

- I'd like to ask for a minimum of 1 paragraph per post; average of 2. No text speak. And at least basic punctuation.

- Format 1x1. I'm only aiming for one instance of the RP, but if a later reply catches my eye, I may do more. If I turn you down because I've already got a version of this RP going, then start another with someone else, please don't take offence. It's simply because their character has really caught my eye and I'm interested enough to try another. It doesn't mean I don't like your character, just that theirs is stand-out enough to make me change my mind about only doing one.
Magic 80%
Magic is common.
Technology 30%
Renaissance
Combat 60%
Combat is woven into the storyline and could come to the forefront if the characters seek it out.

Details: Freeform, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred.

This.....is......AMAZING!!! I’ve been searching for a good and actually lore friendly Rp. This is Orion and he’s a Native Imperial, born in Bruma. He was raised for Battle, but his Imperial Luck and Natural Silver tounge usually get him out of fights. ((I’m very interested))
Would I be able to join in as Arun-Ja or Thari-Ei, or am I a little late?

Sounds good. That'd probably work. Hit me up with some details in a PM about what kind of injuries your character might have sustained or at the least how they found themselves unconscious, and we can work out a starting point from there.

There's always the possibility that talks with earlier repliers might fall through or the corresponding RPs end early enough for me to seek out a replacement partner. If an opening comes up, I'll let you know and check if you're still interested.

As for a three-way, I'm only interested in doing 1x1 RPs atm. I'm involved in a group RP already and I don't really feel up for more than one at a time.
