Sat atop a small hill, facing the setting sun, Jo let out a sigh. They knew they'd get in trouble for being out here so late on their own, but summer was ending soon, and it wouldn't be long until they'd be back to school. They wanted to enjoy the freedom in the open air as much as they possibly could before homework, class and an earlier curfew cut their free time short.
But this summer felt like it was a summer wasted. With no friends to play with, it had been a lonely time of reading books and listening to music. Pulling their sunglasses off and rubbing at their featureless brow, Jo wished to themselves that something interesting would happen before summer ended...

Alright, so I haven't had a huge opportunity to refine T'joa's personality yet... an odd character such as them doesn't tend to fit many scenarios. However, I've been developing a more accessible alternative form for them. Given communication is far easier with at least one of two main senses used in basic social interaction intact (plus the ability to actually speak is always a plus), I figure this form would be far easier to develop and flesh out this character's personality.
So... if anyone out there has a kid character who would be interested in making such a friend, be sure to drop me a reply!
As usual with my RPs, I write in a multi-paragraph style with an average of 2 paragraphs, minimum of 1 paragraph per post, with only the occasional blip where less is posted under particular circumstances. I'd very much prefer a partner who can at least come close to that pace. I'd also prefer partners aged 16+.
This will be a 1-on-1 RP with no romance and no sexual themes. I'd prefer long-term, but I can accommodate shorter RPs as well.
Note: If you'd rather RP with the original monster-esque form of T'joa, let me know. If nothing is said, I'll assume you're happy with the human version.
