Okay so I can't draw cool looking people for my characters and I don't have the money to pay someone else to draw them for me. So my question is, do you guys know any safe sites that let you make your own character. Because sometimes you can't find the character's look that you are going for on google.

A number of folks use doll maker sites, though. Doll Divine and RinMaru (which share a lot of stuff) are pretty popular, since they have a myriad of makers with different themes and styles. I've also used Hero Machine (I favor version 3), which allows more size, placement, color, body, etc options than most individual doll makers, but those options mean it takes longer to complete than most, it's all western superhero comic styled, and it's been glitchy for me lately with just... not wanting to load.

(I'm literally just copying and pasting this from another thread - seems a lot of people are asking at the moment!)

In addition - sometimes you can find free art threads in the Art and Creativity Subforum, but many of these artists take them on as relaxing warmups and require a reference to work from.

Her newer games, especially her avatar creator, make it easy to create pretty-looking characters if you don't have confidence in your own art.
