"For one reason or another, you find yourself holed up in a hotel that has worked up quite a bit of buzz recently for a rather odd reason. Rumors have started going around a few weeks ago that the hotel was haunted. There have been reports of very strange happenings going on; lights have been flickering on and off with no explainable reason, people have gotten a feeling of being watched when using any electronic device, and water taps have started running when no one turned them on. There have also been reports of things being moved with no one touching them. Stepping into your room, you suddenly get an eerie feeling of being watched. Looking around the room, you catch sight of a woman dressed in what appears to be an outfit worn during the American Revolution. Talking with her, you find that she was actually from that era and you have been the first person who could see or hear her ever since she came back as a spirit. Now, it's up to you to help this curious ghost find the reason why she still lingers as well as satisfy her curiosities about the current technology of the world."
Heyo! Gab here! So, I just created this new character and am revving to get her thrown into an rp so I can flesh her out a bit! Elizabeth here is just a curious ghost who wants to learn about the new technology today as well as why she still lingers.
So, a few notes before we begin:
Setting: Preferably modern and slight supernatural elements.
Plot: This little blurb is all I have for plot. I like to just get the rp started and see where it goes, but if you want, we can discuss some plot details beforehand.
Drama: Tons. I. Love. Drama. Ic drama that is! (Ooc drama is a bit of a different story) I don't know what it is, but I just love to see what happens with different dramatic situations. My love for character drama runs deep.
Grammar: Please try to have good grammar. I'm no grammar Nazi, but I would like to be able to understand what my partner is trying to say
Post length: At least enough for me to give a response to. A paragraph is preferred, though I understand if you can't always write that much.
Character types I'm looking for: Preferably human.
Romance/Smut: Romance, maybe, but smut no for now. I'm underage, so any smut scenes will have to be ftb. I also don't want the romance or smut to take over the purpose of the plot. Romance may be a bit awkward since Elizabeth is a ghost, so I'm thinking of only allowing it to happen if she can be brought back to life somehow.
Where we will rp: I prefer pm, but we can go with forums if you want. Oh! This will also be 1x1!
POV: I write in third person perspective and would prefer my partner do the same just to kinda keep things consistent. Though, I don't really mind if my partner writes first person.
Response speed: Sporadic. Believe it or not, I do get busy during the day. That and it takes me a long time to think of a decent response. I do try to respond at least once a day, though. Please don't bug me with messages about responding to the rp, even if you see me floating around the site. It kills my enjoyment of the rp if you do that.
OOC Chatter: I do try to make some smalltalk, so don't be afraid if I all of a sudden pop up with the OOC parenthesis. I don't bite!
Last of all: Please. Please please please please please. Read Elizabeth's profile and possibly even my own profile before jumping into the rp. Oh! And have fun too!

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
Modern
No combat. If problems arise, players may be expected to solve it without resorting to violence.
Details: Freeform, adjustable length posts, long-term RP partner preferred.
