It's 2036 in a small town in western England. There are humans much like you and me and then there are some that are born different. They have powers. Some control fire or ice some can teleport and see into the future. Anything we can imagine. But, There is an organization that knows about the existence of those gifted people and hunts them down relentlessly since the dawn of time. That's why witches and wizards summon the Demoniums. Supernatural immortal creatures. They are either bound with one gifted person even if they don't want to or have crossed through the worlds on their own. The Demoniums look just like you and me, their powers are stronger and more concentrated. Our paths cross when you enter into the shop I work at, coming from a few towns over after hearing word that there was a hunter nearby. you're looking around at all the odd items when another character enters the shop.
Magic is fairly common. Players and NPCs important to the tale may have it. Mistborn.
Modern
More combat than not. The setting may be at war, and the characters will likely get involved whether or not they seek it out.
