Just added support for accented characters in character names, along with the use of a few types of punctuation (Such as . so you can have a Dr. Evil)

To clarify (because I'm not always the brightest), does this mean symbols like ö, ø, æ, ï, ē, and etc will be possible in character names? (Tried an ö once, didn't get far 🙈)

If I'm not mistaken, this is one of the primary reasons accented character support has been on the to-do list for a while! :D So I'm 99% sure the non-English alphabet characters will be added.
To be clear: I'm adding accented characters here, not full alphabets from other languages, such as kanji lettering. For most, trying to address a PM to someone with a name their keyboard can't even begin to approximate would be extremely challenging.
Oh very nice--I will probably make use of this in the future on one or two characters, depending on what I make them for.

So like - ó í ē = yes
But - æ ø § = no

Right?
"ø" is in Numerous Germanic languages
